I had a moist heating pad but to reduce swelling you need ice.

I love this thing! No more struggling with zip lock bags and ice. This stays cold and is easy to move to the shape you need (i.e. wrap around your ankle, knee, etc.) I believe my injury icing is more effective now that I have this cold pack. I wish I had found this a long time ago!

This is great for icing those big areas on your body like your hip and back. Does better than any other ice pack I've ever owned.

I love this colpac. It's everything I was looking for. Thick, about a half inch and, dense. Most cold packs are sloshy inside. If you need this one to stand on end while you get into position, it stays long enough to get conformable. I highly recommend this product.

This is THEE brand to own.They last for years if you take care of them.I took this with me to the hospital for back surgery. The hospital had a cheap ice chip bag for my back! Really? I brought two of these big packs with me. One was on, one was in the freezer. The nurses told me I was smart to bring them. Thank God for these, I wouldn't have made it through without them

I've had all sizes of the black colpac. They never fail to offer relief. Half my freezer is filled with colpac. I'm grateful for the reduction of pain I've feel in my body from this natural treatment. So much better than popping pain pills.

This product is awesome. I had my shoulder replaced on Halloween and this ice bag is perfect. I had ordered two of them in order to rotate them but since I was needing ice 24/7 for months I ended up buying 2 more. So I rotate them constantly. I really could have done with only 3 but once I started back to work I was very thankful for the 4th one. I wore one while driving to work, had two in a cooler for while at work and then when I got home I was able to put those 3 back in the freezer and get out the 4th one for my shoulder. I am almost 2 1/2 months out from surgery and still using them on a daily basis. The 12.5 x 18.5 are the perfect size for a shoulder as it will mold around the shoulder perfectly and then hang across the front and back of the shoulder to ensure you ice the entire area.

I wrecked both knees and this cold pack is large enough to cover both at the same time. It also stays cold a long time.

This is the real thing! You don't want to buy anything else if you have shoulder, neck or back pain! I tried all the smaller ice packs and they all bursted after 6 months...This is exactly what my chiro uses and it stays on your shoulder, cold for a good 15 min. or more (but it is recommended to use ice only 15 min. every 2 hours). The thing withice packs and shoulder pain, is the icepack always fall or flatten right where you need the ice: not this one! I might have to make some room in the freezer...but eh, it's really worth the relief. If it burst, I think I'm going to cry. Let's see. If it bursts...I will update my review instead. The vinyl is very thick, though. Stop spending money on little blue icepacks: I recommend this one. That's what I really needed.
