Bought this before shoulder surgery. Had used one at the PT sessions I attended. It is perfect for icing shoulder, back, knees. Very cold and no mess with ice. Really helped my recovery from shoulder surgery and my husband's recovery from spinal surgery and hip replacement. Highly recommend. It is heavy, but so effective!!!

Well made. Have it in the freezer and use it daily. After using it for months, there are still no problems.

Absolutely the Best Cold Pac that I have ever used--covers a large area and is cold and comfortable--very high quality product that costs $45.00 from your Physio that can be had for less than $20.00

My physiotherapist uses these, so I bought a few different sizes to have on hand. Great for inflammation on my hip, neck or knee. Very sturdy and stay cold for my entire treatment. They are great, you won't be disappointed!

The size is great, it covers my knee. It is just like the one that was used on my knee in physical therapy.

These are the best cold packs on the market. This particular size is large and somewhat heavy, but cools a large area for a long time. The polyurethane cover is more flexible and durable than the vinyl used on most other cold packs. Skip the cold packs at the drugstore--they aren't nearly as good, don't stand up over time, and don't really save you much money.

SO nice to have an ice pack that covers my entire pain-in-the-neck (literally!) shoulder. One of the best buys I've made all year. The plastic is kind of rubbery, so it doesn't move around or develop flat spots. You will not regret this.

It's big enough to wrap around my knee. I bought two, and I keep them in microfiber pillowcases for my post-workout rest sessions. These do a better job than the ice packs I've been using. They seem well-made.

This is a great ice pack. It stayed flexible when cold, stays cold for a good 30 - 45 min and chills quickly. I'm very glad I made this purchase.

Like many other reviewers, a physical therapy group introduced me to the ColPac brand ice packs. Simply put, they are superior to other brands and I have tried many through the years. The largest size is quite heavy, however, to carry from freezer to your chair or bed so beware of that if heavier objects hard for you to carry, My favorite is what they call the neck colpac which I use on my back, top of both knees at once, hip area...well and yes, my neck. Long way of suggesting if you only get one, the 21 one offers a wide diversity of uses. Good luck and quick healing!

Don't waste time and money messing around with less expensive gel packs, like I did. This is the brand used at most therapy centers, is extremely malleable, retains cold for a long period and works wonderfully if inserted into a pillowcase when it has to be placed directly on the skin. I would buy it again and intend to get different sizes to have on hand.

I purchased two of these 10 x 13.5 Colpac packs, and LOVE them! These pacs are sturdy, while not being overly heavy. The weight that they do have allows the pack to form appropriately to the surface where you're applying it (in my case, my back, quads, calves, and shoulders). They remain consistently cold for at least 20 minutes, which is the most you should be intensely icing anyway.I highly recommend, and have been using the product successfully for over a year now!PRO TIP: Use a pillow case over the ice pack before placing on bare skin!
