Having worked in physical therapy, the quality of this ice pack is identical to the ones at their offices. Large enough to blanket any area in ice chilling relief.

After 8 surgeries... different ice packs over the years have never been this cold. I love this new ice pack - it is large enough to wrap around my leg and gets extremely cold. I would totally recommend.

This cold pack is VERY large as stated in the OVERSIZED. It stays cold for an exceptionally long time IMO. I like that within about 5 minutes it is very pliable yet still very cold.

Product is exactly as advertised. Gel is amazing and holds the cold fro a long time. It conforms to whatever area you need to use it on and re freezes quickly.

I bought these to use at home because they are the same ones used by my physical therapist. I am recovering from knee surgery and nothing feels better than an icy cold pack on your knees after exercising. the size is perfect for all over cold.

I prefer my icepacks with no barrier between my knee, Just icepack straight to skin.This was the same icepacks my physical therapist used on me after my knee surgery. Use atleast every other day

I broke my wrist and while going through therapy needed a way to ice my wrist after exercising the joint. Although I had other cold packs, it was hard to get the cold all around the joint for the time needed. This cold pack bends around the item so it would be great for any area that needs a cold pack to conform to the body or wrap around an area for relief.

i used it to ice my knee after surgery. it contours easily around the area that needs to be cooled and it stays cold for a long time. works great for headaches, too. i highly recommend!

This is a lovely product I own 2 of them I gave the new one to a friend as a gift. These will last forever if you take care of it. It will not crack at seams and it's always ready to use if you keep it in the freezer. It does not hold the cold as long as some but it will last 10 years or more.

I used this when I had a spinal cord stimulator (back surgery) placed. They remain flexible and retain their icy relief for a long time. Plus, they are long enough to cover my whole back. *Admittedly I am quite short, but chances are this pad will cover you where it counts. I highly recommend them.

Chattanooga company makes a few different models of Cold packs. Stick with these (the black ones). They're far superior to the blue ones and will last 10 times longer. The blue ones I bought always developed leaks. I've got Black ones I've been using over a year and this has never happened.I virtually live on these ice packs 24/7 (no exaggeration) for some L4 - L5 herniated discs and have been for about 5 years now so I think I'm qualified to make an objective, trustworthy review. I keep buying these (perhaps every 12 to 18 months). That wouldn't be the case if I weren't completely satisfied with the product. With my terribly bad back, I simply could not imagine life without these cold packs.

Years ago I pulled some ligaments in my left rotator cuff, was in physical therapy and workout daily to keep things in check. Occasionally it will cause me problems. I bought three of these (they are cold for about 20 min. before needing to be put back in the freezer etc.) so I have an hour of cold therapy on that shoulder. They are awesome! This is large enough to stay put unless you move quite a lot with it on. I keep the three in a freezer for acute flare-ups. I highly recommend them for anything needing an ice pack.

I bought 3 colpacs in anticipation of knee surgery. They met and exceeded my expectations. They remained soft and flexible in the freezer but maintained the cold temperature for more than 20 minutes. The size was perfect for covering the entire knee area and was easy to position and conform to the shape of my leg.

The unique shape works very well for shoulders and neck. Also works great for knees, ankles and other difficult areas (like the groin area). I use this in combination with the Chattnooga Colpac 10 X 13.5; and/or the Oversize - 12.5 x 18.5 to maximize cold therapy.
