It is a nice large size and it stays cold for extended time periods. Do to it's large size it does take some time for it to re cool. So having 2 is a good idea.

Great ice pack! Super cold and big enough for my back. I freeze my back for 20 minutes at a time.

Nice bag, it stays flexible after it has been in the freezer, and that is a big plus over a stiff ice bag, or just ice in a bag.

This product is used by the physical therapy group I have gone to. It is so easy and convenient to use since it remains pliable after it has been in my freezer. This makes it so much easier to apply to any area I need a cold pack. I also ordered this product in a smaller size, and these have solved the problem of how to effectively apply ice packs.

Great ice pack for aches and pains of getting older! However, my 14 year old football player grabs it for icing his injuries as well. Just slip it into an old pillow case and ice for 20 minutes. It holds the cold and won't sting your skin. Great product.

If you are in need or a large cold pack then this should be top of the list. Cover feels heavy duty and it seems to get colder than other packs we have used.

Love it, Love it, Love it!!!!! Thinking about a 2nd one for the other knee. Have arthritis and it helps with the joint swelling.

I really love these cold packs. I had both knees replaced and bought 2 for under my knees and 2 for over my knees. They're exactly like what they have at physical therapy. One of the best things is that they came very quickly - I took the free shipping and they came much faster than advertised. I use them every day several times and am just so pleased with them.

Great packs for icing large areas, or wrapping knees, etc. They are heavy FYI (they are BIG) For longevity, try to leave flat in freezer, or only fold minimally.

This is a well made ice pack. I was surprised by the thickness of the outer cover, and the amount of gel inside. This thing ways between 3 and 4 pounds.

Wonderful ice pack. Large enough to lay over shoulder and covers enough area. Thick enough to stay cold for quite awhile. I put on my shoulder for 15-20 min and stays cold the whole time.

Love this cold pack! I bought the large size which I believe will allow me to use it for a multitude of ailments. I currently use it daily for a foot injury. The large size wraps around my entire foot and ankle which is almost impossible to do with any other cold pack on the market. I would absolutely recommend ColPaC as the go-to brand for cold packs.

Same ice pack used at physical therapy. Had to get one for use at home. I have freezer full of different types of icepacks and this is my favorite. Love how cold it gets and retains its cold. Gets so cold that I use the cover for my heating pad on it and still gives a great icing. Could also use pillow case or two. Heavy gel that doesn't slide to the sides. Could be too heavy for some injuries so watch size and how much weight you can bear on injury.

This is a heavy duty bad boy cold pack. It says not to lie on it so I hold it in with a back brace for 30 minutes while sitting at the computer. It seems to be of professional quality and is similar to the ones they used on me for shoulder therapy. If you're hurting, this could help you out.

This ice pack was a key part of my recovery from a bad motorcycle accident. After being in physical therapy for a week or so I decided I needed to get some nice ice packs like they had. I looked for the same brand they used and they were ridiculously expensive. These ColPac's are very heave weight and get very cold. I always wrapped mine in a pillowcase and then around my leg. I would highly recommend the 12.5 x 18.5 size.

No more small chill packs for me. This covers the entire problem area. Covers your entire back, knee, leg or anywhere you need a cold pack. Stays cold for hours. I use an old pillowcase as a buffer and it works well.
