Heavy duty, use in a pillow case. Love it after a work out! Gets area cold at a deep level.

These products are AWESOME! They stay cold for sooooooo much longer than any other product I have tried (and I have tried many!). They stay cold for over an hour at a time while most of them only stay cold for 20-30 minutes. Very pliable and easy to use.

This Cold Pack stays flexible, even when at 0 Degrees. It is able to mend around limbs. It also stays fairly cold for about 20 to 30 minutes.

It works much better than the light blue drug store ones. It starts out colder & stays colder. Just be sure you have room to store it flat in your freezer.

this is the same cold pack that was used on my back during physical therapy. When I exercise (every other day), my back muscles try to cramp. It is then that I am thrilled to have it. It has made it possible for me to decrease the medications I have been taking for pain. Thanks.

I use this for my lower back pain and it is really cold. Other cold packs lose the cold quickly. This pack remains cold for the time that I ice my back. Keeps its shape and is durable

Works just as advertised. I work construction and get knee pain and back pain sometiems. I put this on my back and two smaller ones on my knees for about 15 minutes and feel gooooood. Makes hard work a little more bearable the next day.

I have used this product off and on for 16 months and for the most part, it is fantastic. In particular, I use the standard size. I use it for lower back issues and it has worked well for me. I'm a big guy and this product has held up very well squished between me and whatever seat I am in. My only problem was with an oversized unit that appeared to be light in gel fill and got worse over time. In this review section, one reviewer states to keep the pack in the fridge when not in use to avoid "evaporation" of the gel. The larger unit was not stored in a fridge and had a problem, the standard was stored in a fridge between uses and did not. Or maybe it just had a small leak. I expect to purchase more.

I have chronic back pain, and found this cold pack to be a very good price, and sturdy enough to not burst after a few uses. You can use it for an hour and it will still be cold, it doesn't freeze hard like some of the others I've seen.Next time I need another size cold pack, I'll buy the same brand

This wraps around a knee fairly well. I would buy even the larger size. This makes recovery from total knee replacement surgery so much easier. It refreezes very quickly and stays cold for a long period of time. Use a standard pillow case to prevent ice burn.

I needed a larger ice pack to cover my lower back and this did not disappoint. It is a nice large size to cover my back side to side or mostly cover up to down. Stays cool for a couple of hours while applying. Then it has to be put in the freezer again, but that normal. I love it and seems very durable.

The Standard Heavy-Duty ColPac Cold Pack is the best cold pack I've used for osteoarthritis in my knees. I put each cold pack in a pillowcase and drape one over each knee. The cold pack is VERY cold and the coldness is spread evenly across the pack, which bends easily for wrapping and can be secured around a joint or limb with an ace bandage, if necessary. There is a slight softness to the pack, which makes it much more comfortable than ice cubes in an ice bag.After icing my knees for 20 minutes, the cold pack feels almost as cold as when I pulled it out of the freezer. I accidentally left the cold packs out, and an hour later, they were still very cold. My cold packs each weigh 3 lbs, 2 oz. The cold pack can be folded but should be stored flat in the freezer. Highly recommended!

these ice packs are great, they were recommended by my PT, his agency only uses these so I figured they were industrial strength, I had one for awhile, I have a lot of joint problems and now have one for each limb so I don't have to wait to freeze to alternate limbs, the packs are flexible and mold to your particular body area shape they stay cold for the 15 minutes needed to ice the area

Use on my lower back to relieve sciatica pain. Can notice relief in about 20 minutes. Would highly recommend. Just wish it had come with some kind of cover. I put it in a pillow case.
