I use these daily. Apparently I am hard on ice packs, since they tend to last about two months before the seams start to split; I then tape them up to get a few more weeks of use out of them. So far, this has outlasted my other ones, and is only about half the cost. I noticed the seams are about three times as thick as my other ones. Would recommend.

It's heavy but that's because there is a lot of material holding in the cold so it lasts a long time. Large to cover a great deal of my back. This is the best cold pack I have ever bought (and I am starting to have a large collection).

Absolutely love it. It gets cold with just a few minutes in frezer. Easy to wrap around swollen area without getting wet. Just wrap small towel around it. Stays cold longer than an ice pack.

Excellent cooling and the fact that it is soft gel, it is very easy to use and comfortable to apply. Sturdy and durable. Used for my knee after replacement surgery and worked like a charm!

Just the right size for knee therapy. Keep two in the freezer, and trade off. They are still soft and pliable even when frozen (it is a gel, rather than a liquid), so they wrap around the knee. The covering is hefty enough to last for years.

Bought this when the wife had acl surgery. This thing is LARGE and somewhat heavy! It does an EXCELLENT job though of staying cold for a long time. With a towel covering it, we have used it multiple times for durations over 1hr with it still being cold. I'm pretty sure we would not be able to use it that long without a covering like a towel though as it really is cold. The gel is very pliable even when frozen. It does sweat (as anything cold will do) so please take that into consideration when using it. I've owned it almost a year now and I would highly recommend it for anybody who needs a therapist level cold pack.

Been going to physical therapy after hip replacement surgery, and they use this ice pack. The size is perfect, it freezes quickly and really helps when I get pain after doing my workout at home.

Exactly what they use at my PT office. The other night I used it 15 minutes on my feet (mortons neuroma surgery), 15 on my shoulder (impingement), 15 on my lower backache and it was still cold! Bought two and gave one to my brother when he came to visit. Great gift for anyone. Only thing is that it is huge. Need space in the freezer for it. I'm getting another so my husband and I both have one.

Perfect for post surgical recovery. I bought 2 of these to use after RC surgery. using a pillow case to protect my skin these packs wrap snug against what ever body part needed. buying 2 allows rotation in /out of freezer.

I recently had ACL reconstructive surgery. I had an icing machine I had borrowed from a friend, who then hurt themselves and needed the ice machine back. I've been using this ice pack at physical therapy and decided that I needed this. It's been a life saver. It's heavy and bulky but it covers the whole area I need to ice.

I love this ice pack. The blue ones you get from CVS stay cold for just a few minutes but this one stays cold for 15-20 minutes or longer. I'm an athlete who is used to having real ice put on my injuries and that's the only thing that really helps heal some of my issues, like IT band problems and tendonitis in my knees. Using real ice is too inconvenient, takes up too much space in my freezer, and gets very wet. Ever since I started using this, my knees have gotten much better and I'm very thankful. I got the second largest one which is very large, but is kind of nice because it wraps around my knee a bit. I have pretty skinny legs, so I could probably go a size smaller, but like the big size anyway. Highly recommend!

I had should replacement therapy and I bought this plus the large 18 size. They are absolutely without doubt the best cold packs I have ever used. My physical therapist uses these on the patients as well. Prior to this I had used the thin blue gel packs. These are far superior in quality. They are soft and pliable when frozen. You can mold them to the shape of the injury. I will never buy another brand of ice pack for injuries!! You will not go wrong if you buy this. I know there are several bad reviews on this and I'm thinking they have lost their mind or they are affiliated with a competitor. These are high quality and both me and my husband love them.

Perfect freezing therapy cold pac - It's huge but perfect for my mom's back. She keeps them in the freezer bottom tray and I managed to find these online to replace the ones she got from therapy. They are the brand they used and hers had finally bit the dust. They retain their cold temperature for a long period of time and fold easily in half to keep flat in the freezer drawer. My mom made a towel pillow to put it into just so it's not too cold for her.

I am using these cold packs after having knee surgery. They work great! They stay cold for a long time and are flexible enough to wrap around my knee and cool the front, as well as,the back of my knee.
