I already bought one from my local PT clinic and loved it so much I order another one online. Saved about $5 by shopping online. This is great for large areas... back/hips. I wrap ACE bandages around my hip with this ice pack to keep it in alignment and extra cold. It keeps cold long so it can be used in more than one place, 15 min in each spot :-) Quite the necessityPro:LargeSuper cold and for longer periodsCon:HeavierTakes up good amount of space in the freezerTakes a little longer to get cold than smaller ones of course

My wife has suffered for years with pain. I have bought her dozens of cold packs, many at a high price.This cold pack is awesome. She loves it. It is the best quality and priced right to boot! It arrived in a timely manner.

This ice pack is so much better than any other I've used. It's still pliable when it's cold, seems to stay cold longer than others, and does not "leak gas" like those clear ones with the blue filler. Love it! Probably because it's so well made, the larger ones are a bit on the heavy side.

This is the best cold pack I have ever used. I was looking for a cold pack like the ones used by physical therapist. It has made my rehab much easier

I like it because the gel inside stays resilient, flexible and will mold to your body, even at -12F straight from the freezer. Other cold packs get slushy or hard at that temp. The Poly cover is thick and strong, with no uncomfortable edges. The pack gel holds a lot of cold, so it stays cold for a very long time. It is heavy so you can use its weight up top to mold down to your shape. It is resilient so you can lay on it like a gel cushion. It feels like a pillow.The materials were well chosen to function as a rugged cold pack. You will need a cover between you and the pack.

I have been using these cold packs, and other products by this manufacturer, for over 15 years, ever since my physio therapist explained to me why she uses them in her medical practice. These last longer than their competition, and I think they might even hold their cold longer, too. I have tried a few others; the lighter blue packs work, too, and cost a bit less, but they don't seem to hold up as well as the darker ones. But eventually, all these cold packs will spring a leak, and will have to be tossed -- especially if you continue to put any weight on them. Overall, I rate these highly, and would recommend them. They're certainly worth trying for your sore neck, back, knee, etc.

This black polyurethane cover stays flexible and moulds easily to knees, shoulders, etc. so has many uses. It doesn't seem to hold air or shrink like others. This is my second one. I'm sold!

I bought 2 so that I would always have a cold one ready to go...this for after-surgery care of swelling. These are very high quality and I expect them to last a long time given the weight of the plastic cover.

This Cold Pack does get nice and cold. It is well made and very durable so it should last a long time. My only complaint is that it is quite heavy but other than that I'm very happy with it.

These are perfect ice packs for nurturing sports injuries. They are not too cold, and don't cause stinging pain when applied over a t-shirt or pants, but they are cold enough to do the job. I use them after intense workouts or sports games. They are well made too, which is nice considering the standard ice packs found at stores usually start leaking within a year or so.

I bought this after throwing my back out. I've used the whole 'ice in a towel' method and regular icepacks. They do okay I guess. THIS thing though? Okay first it's huge. I'm 6'5 with a broad back and this covers my whole lower back without issue. It also retains the cold for quite a while. I can't imagine a better cold pack.

I keep this in my freezer at all times. It is big enough to cover large areas (like my back, and big enough to fold around a joint (knee or ankle). This is a great product and I think you won't regret this purchase.

These ice packs are high quality and hold the cold very well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of these. The polyurethane has a softer, more comfortable texture than the cheap, hard plastic traditional blue gel packs.

So far so good on this cold back. I use to buy the blue ones and I am not sure if this one is any stronger but it does it job. My blue cold packs usually last a little over a year with almost daily use before a leak starts. Just maybe this one will last longer. When you purchase them they last longer if you do not fold them in the freezer.

This cold pack is comfortable to use instead of hard ice packs. It is the same brand used in my PT office and they told me they would recommend. The cold packs are used daily there and last forever. Mine is new, so can't speak to how long it will last, but seems very sturdy and it is doing a good job on my sore back. Price was reasonable and delivery very quick.
