Since knee replacement, the need for ice bags to help reduce swelling are a necessity. Ice bags are a lot of work preparing when you need relief. The Chattanooga ColPac is what my Physical Therapist uses. No more ice bags for me.

This ice pack, while taking up a size able chunk of my freezer, is the most amazing pack for the back. This coming from a spinal fusion recoverer who needed a large area iced every time. The pack stayed cold long enough for the recommended 20 min+ icing time then was popped back in the freezer and ready again in an hour. A bit heavy due to its size, but just what a back in pain needs!

I love my cold pack and sadly, have to use it regularly, but wow, it is great!! It stays cold for a long time and refreezes very quickly. The size is so huge I can wrap it around my knee to cover just about my entire knee.

I ordered this Cold Pack a few weeks ago. Everything went smoothly. It arrived in a timely manner. I have been using it a few weeks and it is awesome. It remains cold for a good amount of time and it is always soft enough to mold over my ankle and heel. It seems to be made of a durable material. So far, no complaints!

Hot flashes were a challenge until I used this coldpack directly over my entire head. It really cooled me down quick which helped to reduce the stress and panic associated with hot flashes.

I use these ice packs at therapy and decided to purchase them for home use. We are involved in a lot of sports and someone always needs ice. I love the material and the way it firms to your body. One of my fav purchases!

The physical therapist treating my shoulder impingement syndrome has instructed me to ice my shoulder twice a day. She iced it at the end of each session with an ice pack inside a pillow case. As I was leaving after my first session I looked inside the pillow case to see what brand the rehab center uses and saw that it was ColPac. Given that they do a lot of "icing" I knew that whatever brand they use would be very durable so I ordered this and a few other shapes and sizes of the same brand. If I am going to ice my shoulder while lying down I will lie down on top of this one, and put a smaller one on top of my shoulder. This brand gets VERY cold and stays cold because the exterior is made of a heavy polyurethane. As a result, you will probably want to put it inside a pillow case or wear a piece of clothing at least when using it so that it isn't so cold that it is uncomfortable (I sometimes have to ask the therapist to put a second pillow case over this because it is too cold with just one on it).

Very pleased with this product. I bought 2 different sizes. It freezes quickly and stays cold for quite some time. It is also very soft and flexible. I opted for the polyurethane cold pack over the vinyl pack because I think it is sturdier and there will be less of a chance of tearing and leaking.

I absolutely love these ice packs. It is moldable and just the right size. It is soft enough to lay your head/neck on but firm enough for support.

The ColPaC was exactly what I needed for my back. I keep it in the freezer so that it is ready whenever my back goes out. Handle it with care and it will last for years.

We had the blue one before, it did not stay as cold for very long. This one holds the cold better and lasts longer.

I've used ice packs regularly for years, and daily for the last 4 years. These are the best I have used. Other ice packs I've used lasted less than a year. I've had these for 2 1/2 years with no signs of wear.Great ice pack. Well worth the cost.

Durable, stays cool a long time, the price I got was great. Worlds better than buying those crappy products from big retailers.

I have a larger version of this which I bought from my physical therapist. It works well, so I got this smalled size to ice my lower back when travelling . Perfect size and not heavy like my larger one, perfect for the suitcase. I like that the gel inside is pliable so it contours to your body. Keeps cold for a long time and "refreezes" quickly. I had one made by Ace which was none of the above and it developed a leak after minimal usage.. now it's trash. Cold Pac is definitly superior to any other cold pack I've ever used and it's what my PT uses professionally.

I had shoulder surgery in June of 2012. Physical therapy began in July and the therapy session always ended with ice on my shoulder. The physical therapist used the ColPac one morning. I really liked the size of the ColPac and the way it draped over my shoulder covering more area than any ice pack I had used in the past. The gel inside the ColPac remains supple when frozen and remains cold for more than 15 minutes. I highly recommend this product for anyone doing cold therapy on a large area.

This is the ice pack I've needed for decades. It doesn't leak. It nicely covers the sprained joint or muscle.
