One of the joys of getting older is the aches and pains. Part of my routine to deal with lower back pain is to lay on a cold pack every night before bed. This is a heavy duty well made pack. It is large enough to cover my lower back without any problems, stays cold for about 30 minutes, and helps me feel better the next day.

Great durable ice pack. Stays flexible and has held up to up to a dozen uses a day, 6 days a week and hasn't cracked or leaked!

This is a great product. It is filled with jell so that it never freezes real hard and you can mold it around an area that you want cold.

I recently had bilateral knee replacements and bought two of these cold packs for icing the knees. They work perfectly and are large enough to wrap around the knee. They are so easy to use, just pop in the freezer and pull out whenever needed!

My family had one for years and when I needed it, (I don't live at home anymore) my mom wouldn't share, so I got another. Only ice pack worth buying.

I have severe lower back problems and had been using a variety of other ice packs. I finally went searching for something similar to what my physical therapist uses and found this. It's truly professional quality- flexible, forms to your body, not mind-bendingly cold but just the right temperature. You put it in your freezer for several hours and then it's ready to go. I often use mine several times a day and, by the way, the coldness lasts for several hours. Cannot recommend this more highly.

I love it when low-tech, blunt-force solutions solve everyday problems more effectively than over-engineered, marginally effective products that make all kinds of claims but fail to deliver.I bought this thing because I've been searching for a way to keep my laptop cool while using it for punishing tasks in the summer heat. The options out there are all variations on two themes, and all are equally ineffective:1) Tilted, fanless stands = stand is quiet, laptop cooks, laptop is noisy and uncomfortably hot.2) Stands with fans = stand is noisy, laptop cooks, laptop is noisy and uncomfortably hot.One day, while fantasizing about designing a hollow aluminum laptop tray filled with icewater, I remembered the flexible coldpack I used to use when I injured my shoulder, and it clicked. Then I had two questions to answer:1) does anyone make a laptop-sized coldpack?2) will it keep my laptop cold for a long enough period of time to be useful?Gambling $29 on this product, I'm here to report that, much to the chagrin of my wife, yet another of my crazy schemes has proven successful. This thing kept my laptop cool (not just the absence of heat, but the presence of coolness, see below) for 2.5 hours while running an audio recording session that nearly maxes all 8 cpu's on my macbook, the kind of task that normally has all fans blazing and parts of the computer are too hot to touch. With the laptop sitting on this fat coldpack, I can now run that same session and not only is the computer not hot, it's actually cooler than when it has no coldpack and just sits idle. Bonus: if I put the coldpack/laptop combo in my lap, the computer doesn't slip around and the coldpack keeps *me* cool as well. That's what we call a win-win, with me winning both wins.I'm off to order 2 more of these things, so I can have a full day's worth of chilled, silent computing.Enjoy!-Gregory Scott

This product is fabulous. I am used to lighter duty cold packs (such as my previous favorite -- Ace). They cooled, but quickly became warm. The ColPaC has much more gel in it, which has two benefits. Firstly, it stays put well. Secondly, it will remain uniformely cold for 20 to 30 minutes. It retains it's coldness so well, that (if placed back in the freezer) it is ready to go again 30 minutes later.I am recovering from a shoulder injury. With the ColPaC I feel the cold deep down to the inner tissues, whereas with a normal cold pack I mostly felt surface cooling. After only three days, I can tell (and feel) the improvement.

AAAahhhhhh this cold pac feels awesome on my sore back. I am glad I ordered this size because it is easier to use and is big enough to lay on and cover most of my lower back.

They use this exact ice pack at the office where I receive physical therapy for a knee surgery. It's solid, thick, yet flexible and is so cold, it's heavenly! (And it stays cold!) I take it out of the freezer (needs to be stored flat, so plan on it taking over your freezer,) place it in a pillow case and wrap it around my knee. It's high quality material... not the little blue gel packs that sometimes freeze a bit too much and become too stiff to wrap around any curves. I used to use two of those, but I've graduated to this extra large slice of heaven. Can you tell I love it?

I ordered this pack and got it in 3 days, It help with the reason i ordered it in the first place. I highly recommend it for lower lumbar and back muscle ache from working back muscles. It is large enough to cover two or three trouble spots at once. It holds frosty temp for 15-20 minutes very good quality pack.

I got this ColPac to prepare for my knee surgery. It was the same one they used at my PT when we were trying to avoid surgery. I got the big on (12.5 x 18.5)so i could wrap it around my knee and get the under side of my knee also. Actually came to purchase another for my Mom who will have same surgery in a few days.

I love my ColPac!!! I have been going to Physical Therapy 3 x a week for six weeks now. At the end of each session, the P.T. brings me a ColPac wrapped in a pillow case to ease the pain in my lower back and hip.You can't buy these at a drugstore. It is far superior to any cold pack I have ever tried. It comes out of my freezer nice and flexible, and it stays cold longer than the others I've tried. Nice fast delivery too!

I purchased my cold pac to help relieve muscle spasms in my back. I found the product to be very sturdy and useful. This is the second one that I have owned and would not hesitate to purchase another one.

I notice some reviews say this product is stiff and hard to form. Mine is very flexible and soft. I think the freezer temp has a lot to do with it.This is the best cold pack I've ever used.
