My wife had both knees replaced and it was time for her to start taking showers. She needed to sit during showering, and this chair was the perfect tool. She now uses it at the dining table too because it's easy for her to sit down in and rise from. Light weight but very sturdy.

My husband needed to sit down in the shower, so we got this shower chair. You can choose to put the back on, but we decided we didn't need the back. The back takes up more room, and we don't have trouble sitting up. This chair is higher than a lot of the chairs, and we chose the highest setting, which makes it easy to sit down and to stand up. The handholds are easy to grab on to, to sit down or push yourself up. The seat has a tiny bit of texture, so you don't slide off. It doesn't take up too much space in the shower, and it's lightweight, so I can take it out of the shower occasionally when I'm showering, but usually I just leave it in there. It's perfect for my husband. I also got the BOPai Vacuum Suction Shower Head Holder, so we could put the shower wand at the perfect height for the chair. I highly recommend this shower chair.

Easy to assemble. Exactly what we needed for my grandpa as he recovered from a fall. My grandpa is about 5 ft 8 inch. 175 pounds and fit well in the chair.

Dad loves it! My dad used it the first time and just fell in love with it because he was eating out of the tub very easily he didn't have to sit down in the tub and try to get out!

Perfect size for a 36 inch shower. Sturdy and easy to clean. I put it on a slip free shower mat. No problems with it. My handicapped husband loves it.

I didn't need this for long, but it was perfect to use after my knee surgery until I could stand safely in the shower. So glad I bought it even if I didn't use it long!
