I researched and read reviews for months before taking the plunge and ordering this wheelchair. I have been dependent on a cane for about a year, but it isn't enough for longer day trips. I missed out every time my family wanted to go to the zoo, a museum, an amusement park, etc. And I was done letting my disability prevent me from living life with my children.Pros:Easy for my husband (and even my nine year old) to push me around even surfacesHubby says it's not hard to push me up hills, even though I am plus sizeI can wheel myself around a store, etc.Smooth rideLight enough for an able-bodied person to liftRoomy seatCons:I cannot get it in the car myself, so only works if I am going out with another adultNot comfortable for longer periods of time, so I use a cushion I purchased separatelyThe smaller front wheels do not work well on uneven surfaces, for example, entrances to stores. The wheels hit the threshold, turn sideways and the chair stops, pitching me forward. My husband often has to turn the chair around and pull me in backwards.
