The first one I got lost air. Got it replaced and after 8 weeks second one still working fine. Now that I've been cleared to actually walking using this , it's nice. Not heavy. I do wear very nice tennis shoes to even my walk. See photo of sole height. Flat shoes or bearfoot won't make your gate even.I am impressed... it's nice product for a painful time.

It fits well on your foot once you learn how to adjust the straps

After breaking a bone in my ankle, I needed a walker boot. This one is comfortable and easy to adjust. It is sturdy enough to keep on hand in case it's needed again.

This is a second broken ankle in a year! We couldn't find the boot the Ortho provided last year, so we bought this. A day after we found ours,! So, I know it's stable, protects my foot, but is a bit heavy, although I don't think anything lighter would provide all that protection.

The boot is great but there is no arch support, I have a sprained foot which that is getting better but now my arch starts arching.

Good value.Bought as a spare so I could work outside and still have a clean one to wear out.Much cheaper than the one from the doctor and I like it just as good!

Definitely gives you the support you need and is very comfortable to wear. It is a little heavy but that's because it is well made. Great value... lots cheaper than a medical supply store.

This was my “stage 2” boot while recovering from a foot and ankle fracture. It is as comfortable as you can get after being in a cast for weeks. The Velcro closures are super strong and there are air sleeves built in that you pump up for more support. It's an amazing invention. It is heavy by the end of the day, but a blessing otherwise.

I had a boot that was hard and plastic all around. I wanted something less bulky and more comfortable. This one is perfect! So much easier to move in and the whole thing inflates!

I didn't want to spend a fortune to get one through my medical insurance. This saved my wallet and was really comfortable.

My Doctor recommended getting this over theirs to save money.I have not used the hard part of boot so far because it's heavy and I'm not weight bearing yet so don't need it.However the inside sleeve can be used alone and that's what I'm doing. Once you put it on you can pump up the air which provides ample support and protection but is much more comfortable than a hard cast.

Dr recommended I buy this one since my insurance didn't cover it and through the Drs. office it would have cost about $250. Same thing for a fraction of the price.

I chose to buy this over the $300 boot at the orthopedist. They recommended it since my insurance wouldn't cover a boot. As an fyi I am a woman with a size 8.5-9 foot. I think I could have gone with a small instead of a medium. There's still so much too at the toe. Otherwise it's perfect.

The United Ortho boot replaced a Doctor's office boot that deteriorated after 6 weeks of wear. The old boot air control valve leaked, the velcro straps fell off and velcro failed after 4 weeks. The United Ortho is lighter and air control better than the Doctor's office boot. Easier to walk in as the heel-toe sole is a better shape. Much better device than the Medicare provided crap.

I have never broken anything as a kid, and now I'm 32 yrs young and my oldest daughter broke my toe on accident and here I am! Lol it's huge but comfy, it's inflatable for cushion for your leg and it's protecting my toe from my babies and me bumping my foot! This is new to me but I know I'm going to have a good experience with this wonderful shoe! Thx United Ortho

Much better than a cast where allowed by doctor. Just being able to take off at night a big plus. I have a used one for sale!

Broke a toe and was in constant pain being on my feet for 8 hours at work. This took most of the pressure off and allowed me to walk so much easier.
