Was used for home therapy aftercare carpal tunnel surgery. 2-3 times a day for about 2 months. Start with the low bands, 2 weeks for each band. Very good therapy.

Fantastic item for a great and complete hand therapy. Very easy to manage but remember, each of them has different strengths depending on the color. Read the instructions carefully otherwise, you can hurt yourself.I'm glad I bought it.

Long-distance cycling was causing hand pain (along pinky and outer edge of palm). Grip is strong thanks to longterm Captain of Crush use but those exercises did not alleviate the problem. Three weeks ago began using the Handmaster Plus regularly and much less pain from riding. I think the flex against the resistance of the band may be key for my issue.

They are really good at preventing carpal tunnel syndrome. They are also good for musicians who play stringed instruments to strengthen the digits.

Injured my hand and needed a lot of therapy as I play stringed instruments. Using clay, Play Doh or a squishy ball only did so much and (like a bodybuilder that emphasizes chest work with no back development and gets a rounded shoulder appearance), my fingers began to naturally rest in a curved, inward or “claw” position. This product works all of the muscles in both directions, providing that healthy counter development that has straightened my fingers back into a natural and flexible condition.I have noticed a lessening of the crepitus and am very relieved to regain my range of motion. The resistance on the lightest ball has been plenty for me and I experience a great deal of fatigue after only about 15 - 25 reps, and I really thought I had strong hands! LolCan't wait to graduate to the next two levels. This product has been a real life saver!

I am in IT and use a keyboard and mouse all day. The new work from home set up with my make shift standing desk changed the angle of my hands and I developed a very painful trigger thumb. It was like an on/off switch instead of a dimmer switch. At times I had to use my other hand to snap my thumb into the other position. Again, it was a very painful few months! A co-worker showed me this product through Zoom and said he highly recommended it, that a rock climber friend recommended to him. I thought I needed to rest my thumb instead of using it (even though swimming loosened it up for a little while). Instead of ordering it, I ordered a brace. I had to sleep in that, otherwise I would wake to a locked thumb. Our company sent us stretch bands and I tried those to exercise my thumb. It felt a little bit better, but no great improvements. I finally decided to order the therapy hand exerciser. No lie, after using it just a couple times that first day, there was a significant improvement. I use it a couple times a day and do just a few squeeze and stretch movements and it is 90 healed. I even stopped wearing the brace after the first week. So if you have a trigger thumb where you can no longer gently move the top joint of your thumb, this is what you should get. I apologized to my co-worker for not listening to him sooner.

I'm a personal trainer and amateur acrobat and I strongly recommend this tool to my clients and training partners! I have greatly improved the health of my wrists, elbows and shoulders by diligent use of this tool and shoulder stabilization training. It comes in three different band and ball strengths, all of which are interchangable. This gives you a wide range of super easy to use and fantastically effective tools to use in rehabbing and strengthening both your flexors and extensors. If you have a hard time in Yoga because of sore wrists, you owe it to yourself to spend the 20 something bucks on this tool! Also, look me up at Ritual FitCraft and I'll sort those shoulders and arms for you.

So far great. If they could make a design that the thumb loop won't slip out from the hole when you pull out fingers from 4 other loops on the other side so easily it will be perfect.
