This product is a good buy if you are aware of one issue. The holes that are drilled are not level. Make sure you level the top of the product before you mark where the holes need to be drilled.

The rating would've gotten 5 stars had the mounting holes been in-line to the level mark on the wall. Other than a a tweak to the mounting approach, these worked out perfectly for my project. I needed a hidden mounting system and I used them to mount a 90 jar spice rack to the wall.

These z-clips have a 5/8 cleat, which do not fit the 12mm rail on the S534 board. Do not believe the customer support answers to other reviews.

These are great! Work very well. I make concealed gun shelves that are free standing from the wall. I read one persons review and they talked about the space between your object and the wall. I notched out the back of the shelves where the clips get mounted 3/16 of an inch so the clips were set in the wood and that created a nice tight fit to the wall with no space. I had to do this simply because the top of the shelf was not perpendicular to the wall! Work great and my customers love them also!

The clip does what it's suppose to do and works well. It's pretty basic, no frills. But one thing that you should be careful with is that the screw holes (two per plate) are not exactly horizontal. For some reason, the holes are offset by just a little bit, so if you drill two holes in your wall (or item) then install, you'll find the plate tilted.. My suggestion is to drill one hole and attach to wall (or item) first, move the plate so that it's horizontal then drill / screw the second hole.

I used these for supports I remove seasonally. Two of the complaints on other reviews were not helpful to me. Yes the screw holes are not horizontally even... but that helps so there is less horizontal pivot at the screws. Also, yes they are not completely flush in joining two flat surfaces... but that is clear from just looking at the fact they must have some thickness. On a picture or frame you may be able to get around that, but if you cannot, mount them near the top of the frame. That will not completely eliminate a gap but it could be an improvement.

Worked really well to install my projector screen on the wall, nice and flush to the wall. I had to add 3/4 stand offs for extra clearance for my fingers but that won't be needed for say a piece of art Also allows for horizontal shift since the projector itself didn't have that feature. Seems sturdy and I used 8 Philips head screws and anchors on the wall. And woods screws on the screen side

Every single clip in the package had holes that were not drilled parallel. This caused my item to hang crookedly. The picture was taken after I repackaged them for return.

We inherited a hanging China hutch. The fasteners that had been used were small. In looking for some larger ones, I ran into these. They worked well for hanging that hutch. The hutch lies really close to the wall. So close in fact that it is hard to see when hanging the hutch. With a second set of eyes, it went smoothly. That was 3 months ago and there have been no issues to date.

We (finally) got around to using these to put up two dry erase boards. These z-clips are perfect for this application. The boards are very stable on the wall.

The best way to hang things on the wall. Tools required; level, ruler, screwdriver. I used the small ones for board mounted hooks to hang clothes and bathrobes in the bedrooms and bathrooms. This is easy to install, do not rush to ensure it's level. Supports considerable weight. Use the larger sizes for shelves. Highly recommended

Great product but false advertising. I bought two packs of these. Got to the end of the first pack and one was missing, so only 19. I thought I might've misplaced it somehow, so I crack open my second bag. I didn't misplace anything. These say they come with 20 pieces but actually come with 19. Fortunately, I had ordered more than I needed for my project but frustrating nonetheless.

Worked exactly the way I needed it to. I wanted to make a gate on the other side of the house but couldn't use hinges because of slope so I used these now I just left the panel off when I need to use it.
