I work in an office with several folks that apparently BATHE in cologne and perfume, which give me migraines. This mask works wonders in filtering out the noxious chemicals. But the length of the straps is FAR too short. After wearing this for just five minutes, I had red marks on my face, and my ears turned BRIGHT red from the pressure. And I am a 5'3 woman who is fairly petite. I understand that a tight fit is needed, but not tight at the Marquis de Sade level!! Not sure how I can wear this all day long. And another reviewer had it perfectly - it's painful on my nose, even after adjusting it with the clip.

Very helpful for me and multiple chemical sensitivity. Masks dont usually smell either.

I have chemical sensitivities and these help a lot! I wear them every time I go out if the house. Glad to get them at this lower price.

Would recommend. A little expensive. Can find these cheaper now elsewhere.

Detect very slight odor but able to wear long enough in spurts through certain jobs. So far, mask has not triggered me.

I've purchased the 3M Particulate Respirator model 8577 several times over the past few years because I have found these work the best for me. I first became acquainted with these when I had to attend mandatory meetings for work, which were being held in a meeting room in a casino in Mesquite, NV. The smell from the smoking of cigarettes and cigars was overwhelming and made me sick. Using this respirator I was able to attend the meetings and still breath at the end of the day. The activated carbon is fabulous in absorbing the smoke from the air before it reached my mouth and nose. I especially like the cool flow valve on the front that aids in exhaling easily, minimizes the fogging of my eyeglasses from my breath, and helps keep my face cooler than when using the models that don't have the cool flow valve.I was using this respirator model long before Covid and now I buy them in packs of 10, which at $50 is about $5 per respirator.I've also used this when painting water based latex paint and haven't had any issues with the odors.

the valve in the front is a problem for TSA, however I did not have a problem after I showed the 100 and the fact the valve has a filter behind it. In fact the TSA crew asked where I got it and the supervisor said he will get one. I traveled over New Years and did not catch Omicron. I also wore it at a family gathering ( I ate outside) and 7 out of 8 got Omicron. And I am diabetic, 70 years old. I was the only family member saved, and I credit this mask.

No other mask I've tried comes close to protecting me from odors and pollution as this one does. It has the vent so doesn't work for Covid mask policy. But I use for Enviromental allergies.

I like that this mask keeps me from smelling the awful chemicals that I have been breathing in when I'm at work. The price is expensive. Before the pandemic I was paying less, but I need the protection. A bit uncomfortable, irritating to my face.

FINALLY able to get these P95 masks again. I always keep them on hand for the now-annual CA wildfirefire season. Wildfire smoke often contains chemical and petroleum smoke from the man-made products humans use and store in their rural/wilderness dwellings. The P95 does an efficient job of filtering out these toxins along with the common wood and vegetation smoke. (The N95 does not filter the chemical toxins.) Glad to have found this multi pack at a reasonable price. All respirators/filters have had substantial price increases due to their scarcity during early covid quarantine days. So the common pricing for this item has doubled from my hardware store purchases 3 years ago. But, it's still reasonably priced in this quantity. AND, it's available!

Great for people who are sensitive or allergic to fragrance or just don't want to breathe the formaldehyde and other toxic chemicals in perfume, air fresheners, auto pollution. I find it very useful when driving on city highways. Blocks most but not all of the auto pollution/exhaust odor. For me it also blocks almost all of the odor when around people wearing perfume or in buildings with air freshener.
