You have to setup your monitors to extend out and meet your gaze maybe 10-16 closer than they are now, if you go with a keyboard tray like this. But that goes for all trays. The build quality and ease of use is sufficient except for my use case, the tray was way too small for my mouse area, and there was too much bulk on the arm making it harder to manipulate, and it pushes you further away from the desk, so you need extended monitor arms. IF you work from home and have a camera setup, then you cannot so easily juggle all these factors together and still have the web cam capture a good frame of you at the same time. All in all, i think its a good choice, if you know you need a keyboard tray with sit stand potential and are willing to work around these constraints.

Instructions are too vague and could lead to confusion. Following the template might result in the rail protruding, so it's essential to measure and test before drilling any holes. The tray is heavy, and as such, it requires a desk that's an inch thick or more to ensure the screws don't pierce through. This detail isn't adequately highlighted on the product page, in my view. On the positive side, it's the most sturdy, stable, and wobble-free tray I've come across without spending over $500. It also offers ample space. It's compatible with desks that have a beam across the bottom, like electric ones, using extra spacers. While 3M could provide these spacers, they don't; they're sourced from a different company. I've been using it for over a year, both at the office and at home, and it remains very stable.

I'm finally super happy with this 23 track keyboard tray bolted to my Drive Medical 13085LN recliner table, with a 30 display. The track extends beyond the table on the backside, but that's never in the way at all. I also use it with my MacBook Pro MBP 13 instead of my keyboard, but I didn't add the wrist pad. I bolted the track 3.5 from the front edge of the table, and off-set it 4 to the right, passing the end of the right side of the table. So that means it travels over the recliner's right armrest for my mousing, and it does so perfectly! I only wish the table met completely flush with the tray when it's adjusted even with it. It can't be flush all the way across because the tray's leading edge is curved. The instructions are awful, and their set back is WRONG if you want the tray recede all the way under the table. It's 3. (The screw hole placements are perfect. ) 3M is needlessly losing many five star reviews with an almost perfect product.

I built a custom corner desk in my workshop loft and wanted to integrate a nice keyboard tray for some height adjustability. This worked out perfectly! Corner desks usually waste so much space and have you sit too far away from the corner. This helped solve that issue as well.
