If you are looking for a good sealant 3M products are great. My only comment is to the people who try to use Silicone to seal things on a fiberglass boat, don't don't don't do it. I have sent hours trying to remove old silicone from my fiberglass sailboat that I am refurbishing. I just want to slap the person who put it on.

So far so goodReplaced the rope bumper on my boatStuff is really sticky so take your time using it24hrs later and it is holding fast and dry!We shall see how it holds up in the water..

I used this product when I replaced the gasket around my RV slide out. It's a little more difficult to use than silicone caulk but should last longer and seal better.

I used this product to install inspection ports and a new bow handle on a Sunfish sailboat. This stuff is more akin to construction adhesive rather than caulk. I'm confident my new fittings will be water tight. Cleanup was not unreasonable. Wear gloves! Very pleased overall, I feel it was worth the money for this premium product.

Used this to replace caulking on rv. Scraped off old caulking, used some mineral spirits to clean, and applied this adhesive sparingly. Highly recommend.

Used this to re-seat a skeg on the hull of a rowing boat. It's been leaking for a while!The hard part is cleaning out the old silicone rubber to get a clean surface - about 2hrs!This sealant is very thick and stiff and flows only very slowly through the nozzle (3/16 hole) so it burst out the other end of the tube with the pressure.The rest of the tube went hard over the next week. Don't think of having it around for future work.That makes it an expensive repair!

The product is runnier than expected. I tape off the area before applying and then go real slow putting it on. I got the best results than any sealant I've used before.

I tried every caulk imaginable, literally so many different kinds at Lowe's to seal a 3/8 inch gap and every single one of them cracked within a day. This is the only kind that did the job! Once cured this stuff isn't going anywhere.

3M Marine Adhesive Sealant 4000 UV (05280), Medium Strength Flexible Waterproof AdhesiveI've had really good luck with the 3M brand of adhesives.This one is 4000 UV, also a 5100 that is a semi permanent sealant.applies almost like caulk, smooths out easily. Better if you wear gloves butnot a necessity.Seals the leaks, usually have no problems after that but always check onyour seals. I used it as a semi permanent sealant for a through hull fitting. It has remained dry to this point. I would purchase it again. I wished they made it in other colors.

As described for use, this is the best product available. If you don't use the entire tube. Be sure to seal properly or you'll have a tube of hardened material.

I run is salt what and put the boat in a boat lift which puts lots of pressure on the rubber bumpers. I was very pleased at how this fixed my problem with the rubber bumper that had separated.
