This is an exceptional product for marine uses. Once opened, has a short shelf life so use it up while you can. I have purchased it several times and am always satisfied with the results!

Don't buy. Did a lot of research and found that this was a great product to use for our camper. Bought 2 and when I tried to use it it was soo hard I nearly had to step on it for anything to come out. Went to a West Marine store and was told this is what happens if not used before the expiration date which is 1 year if unopened and the seal is in tack.

I have used this product on my boats for sealing under deck plates, hooks, etc... with great success. It was recommended to me for sealing horizontal seams on my RV by a local RV dealer. With my past success I thought it would be the ticket. Plus, UV is in the name, so it should be great... not so much. All of the seams I sealed last year failed. After one year in the sun, the sealant turned ashy and started coming out of every place I put it. The previous sealant I used was simply a home exterior window caulking and it lasted for ten years. Truthfully, the old home caulk was still serviceable but had attracted a lot of dirt so looked ratty.For applications that do not see the sunlight or just occasional sunlight, this product works well and is easy to use. However, if your boat or RV sees constant sunlight, it will fail in short order.

I used this to stick some cameras onto my boat in a semi-permanent fashion. The good news is that you can pretty easily remove them and use the rubber eraser wheel thing to get off the remnants. The bad news, if you can call it that, is that this sealant is not nearly as strong as 6200 or one other other other epoxy types that will really nail it in there. So, it was hard to get the cameras to stay put when I was trying to set them and in one case, I just gave up.But... it's designed to be removed so for that I give it high marks for doing what it's advertised to do.

This is the best sealer for boat portlights and portholes. It is resistant to UV and it's adhesion is outstanding. Easy to apply as it is forgiving if you make mistakes, but they need to be fixed before it cures. Once it cures, it is not easy to remove, as it should be.

Got the job done and well. Used it to seal up the holes in our boat when we added in a swim platform. The boat took on ZERO water just an hour after application and had the boat in the water for 12 hours following. Would definitely purchase again.
