Used to mask joint edges when recaulking the expansion joints of my concrete driveway. Worked perfectly. Adhered to the concrete surface. Of course, the product performance will depend on your definition of rough surface, but it worked well in my application.

Has a high adhesive rating yet is easily removed after 3 to 4 days of being applied. It seems like after the fourth day you have to work at it somewhat to remove the tape.

I've used this tape on brick, stone, and ceramic tile. It has good adhesion and seal on all these. Just brush/wipe off any dust before applying and youre golden!

I used on the patio in Heights area of Houston, Tx. We get alot of wind whipped rain back here, so this has held on tenasciously. And doesnt take a whole lot either.. Only about 3 is all i used.

I painted a rock waterfall on my patio using a sprayer yesterday, and used this Scotch Rough Surface Painter's Tape to mask off areas of decking I didn't want painted. In conjunction with ScotchBlue Pre-taped Painter's Plastic, it made the job a breeze. The plastic has a built in tape but like any standard blue painter's tape, it doesn't work well on concrete pavers, stucco walls, palm trees etc. But this tape does, and together they worked beautifully. I'm going to ensure I always have a roll or 2 of this in my tool cupboard.

Works great on concrete and rough surface so no paint bleed happens. Easy to keep a nice straight line

The clowns who rehabbed my place screwed up the kitchen ceiling light gaskets, no longer available. This tape has worked as a replacement, and has come off when needed (bulb changes) without taking paint with it. However, I can't promise it will work as well for you. Pre-test on your surfaces first.

This tape is tapier than most tapes. If we lived in a tapey community, this tape would out-tape most of the tapesters around. It doesn't underwhelm when you need some tape, of course, unless you expected this to be some kind of duct tape or gorilla tape because this tape is slightly less tapier than that. If that were the case, you wouldn't be reading the tapest review available regarding the green Scotch tape. I don't always tape things, but when I do, I use the tapiest tape near by for practical things like masking painting because when things need taped, you tape them.

This stuck to my brick wall very well to mask while caulking windows. Don’t leave it on overnight. Where I left it overnight some of the adhesive stayed on the brick. Had to use goof off to remove it. I would still use it again but remove it as soon as the caulk sets up. This was outside in the sun so it would likely be less of a problem indoors or cooler. I don’t get why tape is so expensiveI sound old

I used tape on patio deck. Around wood windows. It adhered to the different material, no problem. Kept paint off and straight line is crisp. Also tape is easy to remove. I like this tape. Highly recommend.
