Seems very well made. After using it hardly looked used. I think this will last for years. A little stiff to push down a chimney but it cleaned quite a bit of creosote out.

Use it more than you think you should. i have some heavy buildup and this brush just glides over it. if i had used it more often then it would be fine i guess. but if you wait too long this will not help you..

I wasn't sure about the plastic at purchase but it works nicely ,just be sure to measure your pipe first and buy the correct size. Some reviews said these don't fit tight enough. This one works just as it should.

Works great in a mobile home chimney, though I found the rod system easier than the rope system.Definitely put down drop clothes your going to be surprised at the mess.

This poly brush fit our 6 inch corogated stainless steel woodstove liner perfectly. The pipe was remarkably clean and in cleaning the pipe our selves we noticed the ceramic fiber panel that needs to be removed to clean the stove pipe in out airtight fireplace insert stove was broken in 2 pieces so we replaced it. The stove throws more heat now and we did see how great the poly brush worked!

Attached 2 ropes to both ends of the brush. Dropped the rope down the chimney pipe and pulled the brush down to the damper. Pulled the brush up, one with the ring on it. It was easy, we did ir twice and then vacuumed the debris. Easy peasy!!!

Worked great to clean 6 stove pipe. I welded a 1/4 inch nipple to a 1/2 inch price of emt conduit. I found it cleaned best when using a twisting motion going down the pipe. You'll have to push it all the way through before reversing direction or else it will be difficult as the brissles are stiff.
