I was really hesitant to purchase this tool because of all the negative reviews on it. After reading most of them I had determined most of the negative reviews looked to be from new, or non, less than mechanically sound operators. That being said the number 1 con would be the availability of inserts. I purchased the 1-3/8 cutter, at first I purchased the 1" but couldn't find the 1/4" ID insert from anyone, so I went with the 3/8" ID insert. I'm really glad that I did because this thing is awesome, I couldn't be more impressed with the job this thing did. I ran it with a higher rpm,, roughly 2,000 rpm, the chip and the finish cut looks amazing. Don't pay any attention to the negative reviews, you can't go wrong with this tool!!!"

Need a bunch of dovetails for bxa tool holders and my hss dovetail has seen better days, im pretty happy with this

I use this size dovetail cutter more than others and it's performance and longivity seem to be moe than acceptable. The carbid inserts allow a bit more removal rate compared to high speed steel, with the finish remaining consistant, with no size variations from one ned to the other from climbing. I average .011-.020 cuts depending on the thickness of stock portion with no complications. My use is a LMS Hi Torque Mini Mill so I do not have the horse power of a larer machine to fairly critisize this cutter as should be. Although I would imagine with additional power results should improve. Hard to go wrong for the price on this one.

if you can not provide the inserts for this tool to be usefull or at the very least provide a vender that has the correct inserts then what your selling is a piece of metal that is worth $35.97 to you but not to the buyer of this item I have one on order and you can for sure expect it to be returned if you can't provide correct info to make this tool useful as it is ment to
