These work exactly as they are supposed to. Just a simple set of items that almost always cure stuck-on drill chucks. I did use shims (2 washers) but I had already measured and knew that would be the case. It's always nice to use something that just works and is the right tool for the job.

The gap between the chuck and the rack was too large for these to be used alone, so I found a large washer and used a cutoff wheel to make a u-shaped spacer to reduce the gap. Then I just tapped on them with a ball peen hammer and the chuck popped right off. Easy peasy.

Took a Jacobs 33 Taper chuck of a drill press just fine, almost easy. It had been on the drill press 30-40 years. Maybe a bit expensive for something I hope I'll only use once, but it worked and I needed to get the old chuck off so I can't complain.
