Fairly easy to install if you use the template that comes with it. The temperature probe cable could do with being a few feet longer since this is a register plate for a wall or door, extra length would help get the probe closer to the components being cooled

Great ventilation fan. I use a pair (intake and exhaust) for my ‘server' closet. Install is very easy and it comes with a great plastIc template to use for the cutout. So much better than paper templates. A few minor complaints:- the power cable that can be used to connect two units together is to short unless the exhaust and intake are on the same surface- finding compatible fans that are quieter is not as simple as you may think due to the specs- having two a separate models for intake and exhaust is just silly. The fans are just reversed in the housing and a switch would have been better- I went through multiple units to find a pair with decently quiet fans because there is a lot of variability between units

Product is attractive and comes in an intake and exhaust version (though you can flip the direction of the internal fans yourself with nothing more than a screwdriver and a bit of pulling to remove the hot glue holding the fan headers in place). My product arrived damaged with a cracked internal fan, so I had to replace them.Included fans are 120mm x 38mm (deeper than a standard computer exhaust fan). I replaced with Noctua NF-A12, which is only 25mm deep.Note: 4-pin PWM fan headers look like they fit a standard computer fan plug, but they do not. The two teeth/keys in the plug are very slightly off. Additionally the female header on the Airframe's control board are slightly too thin to fit a standard 4-pin PWM fan header.I had to use a razor blade to shave off the teeth on my Noctua headers, and then had to cut off the bottom edge of the female headers on the board. The fans work perfectly well with PWM control, but after the modifications the headers fell out of the board very easily. I had to super glue them in tape didn't work for me.See photos attached.

I measured 48dB at 1m away on speed 4/6. Definitely not as quiet as claimed. I was hoping to connect a second S-series unit, as shown in the manual linked to in the item's description, to push more air at a lower speed/noise level. But after calling support I found out those expansion modules were never manufactured and never will be.

Installed in the wall of my server closet. It is incredibly quiet, effective and integrated well with another T7. I couldn't be happier with the quality or the piece of mind

I mounted this in the ceiling of an AV closet. Not the typical application but the door has plenty of gap at the bottom for intake and I needed to vent out the ceiling into the attic space. Works great, love being able to adjust the temp setting and spread. It's quiet unless you have to run it on the highest setting, then you can hear it. I'm fortunate it only needs to run at level 1 and sometimes 2. I have it set to increase fan speed every 2 degrees. For those having trouble with the settings and at what temperature it kicks on at, read the manual. You have it in the wrong mode for what you want.

Moved all of my electronics into a closet and didn't realize how hot it would be. These fans looked like the perfect solution. I ordered the intake, and also a exhaust. Super easy to install and they look really nice as well. They could be a little bit more quiet on the max setting but for the most part they're not super noticeable. I've seen people post about replacing the fans with higher quality lower noise fans and I considered it but it's not bad enough to warrant that unless you're really producing a lot of heat because the automatic mode throttles down the fans when full power isn't necessary based on the thermostat reading. The one gripe I do have is the length of the cable to connect the fans together if you buy more than one you can have a master/slave situation so they work in conjunction. My closet was a little big so the wire was too short to make the connection. If you just use one at the top of your door and one on the bottom it should be more than fine. Other than that I'm happy with 2 months of constant use no issues at all.

Once again i like both the exhaust and intake. They both work very well and do what the description says.
