I installed this during a heat wave and our attic dropped 40 degrees and our electric bill dropped by over 100 bucks a month for cooling. It looks great as well and I like the app because it makes programming easy.

This fan definitely has power. The controller has many functions and works with Bluetooth. We i installed in the garage to release heat and it works great!

Purchased this fan for my 14x20 greenhouse and am very happy with the results. The wall mounted controller may be a little intimidating for many, you really have to read the instructions. However, Connect it to WI-FI and use the App. Im an engineer, so my demands are pretty high when it comes to stuff like this. Im impressed. Easy to use app; the ability to control the fan and review data is amazing. I love that you can have fan run slowly at a set point and have it increase speed if the temperature goes higher.

This is a very good fan. I am installing it in my attic. I put 2 vents on the opposite side of the attic and this will draw the hot air from the attic. I temporarily installed it but I am amazed at how quiet it is. I like the controls and I still have to install the bluetooth app. I was going to finish the install today but I am too sore after being on a steep roof for 3 hours. It is also 98 degrees and a black roof. I am 73 so I do not have the stamina as a younger me. I have to install a receptical for the plug and drill a hole in the ceiling for the probe and the control cable. I am highly satisfied with the purchase. UPDATE===I have it installed now and it works great. I bought 2, 12 inch vents for the north side of the attic and installed this fan on the south end. The attic temps were running between 135 and 140 in the afternoon. Now with this insatlled it was 110 degrees in the attic and it was 102 degrees outside. Very very satisfied.

I've been very happy with the fan so far. It's much quieter than I expected, can't hear it at all in the house with an attic install. Do yourself a favor and program the controller through the app on your phone. I'm a software engineer and gave up programming the controller directly. After figuring out the programming this fan is very configurable based on environment settings.

Can't get this unit to fully open the shutters. Seems like they put a weak fan into it.

What can I say! It was super easy to install and set up. It is the perfect addition to my greenhouse. It works perfectly along with the thermostat.

Searched long and hard for a unit that was powerful yet quiet and had variable speed control as live in a condo complex..Bought this unit and glad I did..

This fan was a reasonable install although my husband had to build a frame to mount it as our house. Just didn’t configure properly. He also ran the wire through a tiny hole he drilled so the readout is in our mud room where we can see it. Then he had to call and speak to someone in order to program the screen because the instructions are difficult to follow. The guy on the phone was super nice and helpful so customer service gets 5 stars.We love that we can program it, we love that it is super quiet when we’re in the house. Oddly, while it is much quieter from inside, it is actually louder than our 50-year-old fan was outside. When we sit on our deck, it is noticeably louder but not terrible. Since the readout/monitor is right in our mud room, we can easily adjust it when we want so it has been no problem. We are very happy with this fan, it is keeping our attic much cooler. When it is about 85 outside our attic goes up to about 130 without a fan and with this fan it brings it down to105. Had it about 4 months, so far so good.

SIX STARS! I bought this brand as an attic ventilator because I have another AC Infinity fan (inline duct fan used for venting a laser cutter) and it's a great fan. So is this one. Beautiful fit and finish, sturdy build, paint is smooth, everything is right. Cord is pre-wired, and there's a long cable to the control box, which has a bright, clear LCD display of ambient temp (separate corded temp sensor is included), your settings, time, and more. Mounting was easy. Mounting flanges run a full inch around all four sides, and each side has two oblong pre-drilled mounting holes so you can make small adjustments if needed when you install. Nice two-inch depth from mounting flange to 'front' of the closed flaps, so there shouldn't be any issue mounting this on most homes, I'd think. (Remember, you're likely mounting on an unfinished attic wall) I trimmed the outside of mine in white, but against a brown cedar shingle, the black fan doesn't call much attention to itself. Super quiet! Can't hear it from the floor below, and it's a whisper if you listen from outside. I love this fan so much I'm making people stand in my backyard to look at my new fan. Flaps open from air pressure, and they have cushioned insulating strips to make a nice tight fit when the fan's not operating. AC Infinity packages their stuff like a Ring camera; every item you could possibly need is neatly bagged and tidy; screws, zip ties, zip tie hold-ups, more. My one complaint: The instruction manual. First, it's in 6-point type; I can't read it! Second, it made programming the on-at-high-temperature look like it was going to be complex, but it wasn't at all. Readers: Buy an AC Infinity fan, they're beautifully made! And AC Infinity, give the product engineer a raise but fire the person in charge of the directions. A fan-tastic fan, it was a breeze to install, and I'm not just blowin' smoke. Great purchase!

This experience has been awful.

I like almost everything about it except it's size. I bought a 16in fan and thought it would slip right between 16 in on-center studs. The actual width of the unit is 17 in. I got it done but it was a lot more work than it should have been. The noise is not bad and it does move a lot of air. One other comment. The screen/grill should have smaller gaps to make it completely mouse proof. It doesn't have an insect screen but it is fairly easy to put one on.

The fan does not move a lot of air. The vent louvers move super easy, yet the fan does not move enough air to open the shutters all the way. It just is not powerful enough - a 16 fan needs to consume more than 90w to really be effective.The variable speed temp controller is great. I wish this was a thing that others manufacturers did. The fan is quiet. I wish they would have spent some of the design resources on making the fan work well vs making the packaging look pretty.I have other shutter fans in other greenhouses, so I am familiar with these types of products.

I do a lot of work in my shop. I create dust and smoke depending on what I am doing. This fan sounds like a plane taking off, but it has cut down on smoke, dust and paint fumes considerably.

Absolutely no complaints about this product.

I've used several AC Infinity fans over the years and have been happy with them which is why I bought this one when I needed an exhaust fan for a greenhouse. The control unit makes it easy to set maximum temperature and humidity levels as well as minimum levels for the fan to engage. The fan also steps up speeds; it doesn't just turn on or off, it will ramp up the speed and vary the speed. This should save some wear and tear on the motor as it will run more slowly if it's near its set point and doesn't just turn on when it engages making the motor overcome the inertia of the fan.
