I ordered this product because I live in a shotgun style house that is over 100 years old. My bedroom is at almost the complete opposite end of my heating/ac unit, so it does not blow very hard. Due to this, my bedroom was always significantly hotter or colder than the rest of the house. As many people have said, the duct work probably needs to be redone but since I rent, that's not an option. By installing this booster fan, it definitely narrowed the discrepancy between my bedroom and the rest of the house. It's not exactly the same temp but the difference is no where near as drastic. My super skeptical husband has even commented on how much it helps! Installation is super easy, it took me longer to get the old register out than to put it in. It does make some noise when running but I don't really notice it. If anything, it would be comparable to the sound of a ceiling fan running. It's a very soft white noise. I wish I had found this sooner! I'm also hoping it will also help lower my electric bill since I'm not having to crank up the heat/ac just to get the bedroom comfortable!

Not the best solution, but a solution that is uncomplicated. The HVAC s/b 1st done right. If necessary an in line booster. but down the road (as here we are), hindsight 20-20 and not going to tear out the HAVC nor break walls to access the ducting. Took a risk, tried it - it helped.

I bought this to help cool down an upstairs room that struggled to get cool in the summer. This was easy to install and set up, but using my best estimate after a few months, I think it's only cooling the room down an extra degree, maybe.

I have some relatives visiting and they are very 'hot-natured' and like their room cold at night. So, instead of freezing out the entire household, I got this for the guest room. I've only had it less for less than a week and it seems to work well. Since our vents are on the wall near the floor, with easy access to an electrical outlet, install was a breeze and a perfect fit (ha ha, pun intended). I plan to buy another one for our north bedroom!

This is a certainly a great product, but unfortunately their largest size was still smaller than the register it was inserted into with gaps of space of the sides. I could not get the air pull intended. However, just trying it out as I did, if there was a larger size, I'd get it. Great product!

Works great! I run it on the highest speed, 10. Whoever says “it’s too loud” is one not to listen to.

Works very good. I have bought other boosters and this is much better than other ones.

What a life saver very happy with it. Loud at times but no more than a in room AC unit.
