Works as expected but can use bigger fans. In the photos are my DIY version I prototyped for cooling effectiveness. I used CoolerMaster 140 MM PWM static pressure computer fans in a disassembled air register. The DIY was much more effective but also much louder. It’s definitely the fans, I have other 140mm fans which are quieter.Getting back to the product review, this is my second aircom product and satisfied. It certainly looks better than my DIY and performance is adequate, not stellar but it does the job.. I think to get the best of both effectiveness and quietness, Noctua fans would be an upgrade.

I have some relatives visiting and they are very 'hot-natured' and like their room cold at night. So, instead of freezing out the entire household, I got this for the guest room. I've only had it less for less than a week and it seems to work well. Since our vents are on the wall near the floor, with easy access to an electrical outlet, install was a breeze and a perfect fit (ha ha, pun intended). I plan to buy another one for our north bedroom!

This is a certainly a great product, but unfortunately their largest size was still smaller than the register it was inserted into with gaps of space of the sides. I could not get the air pull intended. However, just trying it out as I did, if there was a larger size, I'd get it. Great product!

Works great! I run it on the highest speed, 10. Whoever says “it’s too loud” is one not to listen to.

What a life saver very happy with it. Loud at times but no more than a in room AC unit.

Worked as expected. Fan is quiet if not put on highest setting. Setting temperature for on/off is a learning issue. If using during heating season, turn cooling setting to off and reverse during cooling season.
