Works great. Frame and louvers are solid metal construction. The louvers move smoothly and close quietly, which is helpful when the duct is below a bedroom window. It is Installed on a piece of wood and connected easily to an intermediate duct piece with a flap.

All metal construction - high quality finishes and appearance. The hole that needs to be cut is over 4 square and requires some extra space where the hinge connects the blades together. Takes a lot of air movement to lift the blades open - not sure how much additional back pressure this creates - but it seems minimal.
