Product Description
A louver vent hood designed to protect fans from and prevent entry of dust, debris and outside air into ducting. Each shutter vent features rubber pads that repress the sound of slamming louvers while ensuring a complete seal from the outside elements. The thin shutter blades automatically open when the duct fan runs and closes when not in use, ensuring one-way airflow that keeps the ducting clear. Durable, lightweight steel makes up the whole-body frame and vent blades, enabling them to withstand all kinds of weather and temperatures.
Applications
This fan wall shutter is specially made to be used in applications such as grow rooms, garages, tumble dryers, bathrooms, attics, sheds, and greenhouses. The round duct tailpiece is compatible with 6” inline exhaust fans, ductwork, or other ventilation accessories and can be secured using aluminum foil tape or duct clamps.

Bought two to vent two stand alone AC units. The only modification I did was put a little gaff tape on the flaps to open them wide so the AC units can breathe as freely as possible...totally optional

This is a very nice and well-constructed louvered vent. The inter-linked louvers are moved in tandem unlike others. Unfortunately, thickness is its biggest flaw. It is simply too thick for my application, and I had to send it back.

I use this for a hot air vent for a portable AC that I made not so portable anymore... The vent is really sturdy, and works great. Bigger than a standard dryer vent, but you could use it for that if you use an adapter. good product.

Awesome vent terminations. 6 flex slid easily over the ends, which isn't always the case, but it's very appreciated when it is! The flaps are all interlinked so they open and close in unison. Have them hooked up to two Panasonic bath fans running at 80cfm. Would recommend
