I usually love the swingline brand. But this one is cutting inaccurately. My husband, who is great with measurements even looked at it and said they're just a little off, but enough to make a big difference. Note; I bought this a year and a half ago, but it was doubt it then also.

Product works great for cutting but, be careful when picking up the unit. Even when the blade is closed and locked the blade is still exposed on the bottom and can seriously cut your fingers.

I use this for to cut greeting cards. It does the job and I do like the safety feature.

I like the safety feature of the blade locking in place when not in use. This is very useful with having small kids in the house and I can even store it upright wherever without worrying about it cutting what's around it. It cuts smoothly enough that my four year old enjoys helping me push the handle down. Very lightweight. I use it for my small preschool papers and laminated papers and works well.

Used it right out of the box to cut card weight paper for ID cards. Cut 150 before I put it together to make sure it worked, well it worked perfectly, the only thing I wish it had was the hold open spring but for the price it is a great deal.

I'm a graduate student studying to be a speech therapist and i was tired of having to cut all my materials by hand. so i went to buy this paper cutter and it has made my life so much easier. the blade is super sharp so i get great accuracy every time i use it and it even had a lock feature so the blade doesn't move during transport. 10/10!

This is the best paper cutter I've ever purchased. Easy to use, measure, the blade is sharp makes clean straight cuts. I wish I would've known about this before wasting money buying other ones. Would definitely recommend purchase again.

I'm doing a project of photos for my daughter's kiddos. I've had to cut down pictures for the photo album. This does a great job and has saved me a lot of time, and money by not having to cut the pictures myself. Highly recommend.

Lightweight. It is made of plastic. The blade is sharp and works great. It works well for home projects. If it is for an office you may need a more heavy duty one

This is a great little paper cutter. I have other heavy duty large paper cutters, and this one is handy for the smaller jobs. The cutter knife is easily removed for sharpening and maintenance which is an issue with many competitive cutters. I am an artist and the cutter is in daily use.Tip: Open the box carefully and save for storing the cutter and keeping it clean.

I finally bought this after trying to use scissors to trim down photos or papers for projects. This is consistently accurate and useful. I use it quite often and have had no issues. I like the safety feature to keep the blade down as well since I do have a couple kids in the house.

What I didn't like was that the handle was not easy to remove, if this is something you will only occasionally use you may want to put it back to the box to hide it somewhere but then you have to remove the handle and that is a challenge... another thing is actual line for cutting, nothing that would guide you from the top, you can get use to it after a while and have feeling for it but it will never be perfect. Positive is that it is sharp and lightweight.
