I almost passed on this because of the negative reviews. I'm glad I didn't. Mine is accurate, sharp and durable. I'm an avid couponer and this machine is perfect for cutting coupons. I cut 10 sheets at a time with no problems.

The slider blades I have used in the past were not able to cut with the precision of this blade. Especially with more than 5 sheets of paper. I am very, very happy with my Swingline paper cutter.

I'm a kindergarten teacher. I use this cutter all year. It is very effective. It easily tucks into a small space between the filing cabinet and the wall. It has made my job a lot easier. I highly recommend this product.

It is tricky even with the guys to get a perfectly straight cut, but overall it works as it should. However I am extremely dissatisfied with the safety features. Even with the blade down, you can still cut your hand from underneath if you are handling the unit and improperly, or just trying to pick it up.They need to add a safety cover for the blade when it and it's in the down position not in use!!!

It is very light weight. I haven't had any issues with it. I own a candle business and use for my thank you cards and such. I think it is a great product.

Small paper cutter, for small projects. If it doesn't matter to you whether your cut is precisely straight or not, then it's OK, but if you need precision, it's better to spend a little more money and get a better one.

My wife uses this to cut our thick vinyl for her Circuit machine. I tried tools specific for Vinyl and nothing could cut it quite like this. I couldn't imagine how amazing it would be for some thing as thin as regular paper. This is perfect for measuring and getting a square cutting edge all at the same time.
