I use Bristol and Mix Media paper. Using over three sheets will not be a clean cut.Best for thin and computer-type paper.

Pros: My wife likes the sharpnness of the blade and the light weight of it. Color is fine. Now the Cons: The latch lock is sharp and she cut her finger while opening it. More like she pricked her finger. As for accuracy, there is a discrepancy with the rule marks. The top marks do not match the grid marks. So she has to manually adjust her measurements any time she uses it. To be able to exchange it for one that is aligned would be great. This was her Christmas present. Thanks

We do mat cutting and have a large guillotine cutter and when we had small projects to cut it just was to large. This little cutter is just perfect for smaller jobs. It is light and seems very sturdy. Love it.

I use this often to cut tags out of cardstock, several sheets at a time. Good sturdy paper cutter, but lightweight, with a locking feature. Love it.

Its nice that it's lightweight. I have no problem with its safety feature but it's not accurate. It always shift by the bottom/end of the cut.

The last inch or so of the blade doesn't cut through more than one sheet of paper.

The unit is so light that it moves readily on the table when the cutter is lowered, resulting in an inaccurate cut. Additionally, the safety catch of the knife requires a lot of force to release, and I feel this creates a safety hazard. It is an inexpensive, but , poorly performing tool. My instincts were to buy a more expensive model, which I will now do.

this was our second purchase of this item. the first one was a Christmas present for our daughter. we had a tough time trying to find a paper cutter that had quality and a low price. it was delivered on time.

I like this paper cutter - when I trim anything I get a nice straight line rather than uneven edges like when I use scissors - worth every penny!
