Military, spend a lot of time in the field. I use a stopwatch on a regular basis, so usually have this around my neck. It gets beat around a lot and has held up reasonably well.It keeps good time, which is important. Time in our radios must be synched up /- 5 seconds. I synch this to Zulu time (GMT) about once a week from a GPS receiver, and it stays accurate. Also very convenient that it can be set to military time. Stopwatch function is simple and easy to use.Cheap enough I keep a couple spares, and don't care if it gets busted (hasn't happened yet) or gets lost. The cord is a good length, and has a snap which is designed to come apart if too much tension is applied. It's saved my neck a couple times when the stopwatch has gotten snagged. However, over time, the snap closure loosens up a bit, so it's not as secure as it once was.

For the price, I am happy with my purchase but don't expect it to be fully waterproof. Took my inside the pool and water got in and started affecting the display. When I try to shake it out, the display blanked out. Base on my past experience, I immediately took it apart and use a hair dryer to fully dried it out. Waited for the next day to replace the battery... lucky it work again. Now I know not to submerses it into water.

i do not like to wear watches on my wrist.. this one can tie to my belt loop or vest pocket... nice BIG face s.. also shows month/day... and is a good stop watch if you want that too.. no alarm,, but i am cool with that

Does as described. Buttons feel heavy and cheap. Overall feels cheap. But it IS a cheap timer.No real way to toggle between splits. Can only have two splits as well. Inability to toggle between split times is a real hassle, would have bought another timer if I realized this before.Using only for recreational timing hog kids for pre-track training. Works well for this basic need, would highly recommend higher quality for any thing above recreation basic needs for timing.

Can't seem to turn this thing off. This is my first stopwatch and it doesn't arrive with instructions. It had been on for 5 hours when I opened the box and I can't turn it off. It's a shame to waste battery, but otherwise works fine.
