Very easy to put together if you just pay attention. 2 man team for quicker results. It's as tall as my walls but thanks to that my short ass can't see what's on the top shelf

I purchased this bookcase for a client who is blending his music studio/ living area in one open floor plan. Needless to sayfunctionality and style are major factors in the layout of this room. Not only is this bookcase stylish and streamlined but it it sturdy and also includes mounting brackets for greater stability. It looks way more expensive than it actually is. I would definitely purchase it again for other projects! This was a win for me!

We are using this item as a bookshelf and display etagere. It's sturdy and balanced. It was exactly as pictured. Some holes did not align perfectly but by laying the unit on its side we were able to get every screw in place. Be sure to check that the side rails match exactly. (One side has holes for the back support braces, the other does not). Because of its size we really needed both of us to complete the task. Neither of us is handy but we were able to follow the pictured directions by checking and rechecking as we went along and using common sense.

Very attractive. Simple and stable

Only 7 shelf etagere I found with open sides, and (somewhat) adjustable shelves....Gives floor to ceiling, front to back, and left to right coverage, which many do not because of their design. Take care putting together, as it matters where the holes are, etc! (Screw stripped when I had to remove one, however, there were some extras, so it was not a problem! Will solve this storage problem for many years!

A great sturdy bookshelf worth every penny.

I have thousands of books and constant problems figuring out where to put them all! Even though I regularly purge and donate books to charity, I will have too many. This holds a lot - I have three and it's nice that they are so tall since I have them in a room with high ceilings. Looks nice and was relatively inexpensive. They seem very stable and they come with anchors for extra security.

The shelf is a little bit smaller than I thought, but still has a good amount of storage space. It looks nice and is really sturdy. Happy with this purchase.

I was able to assemble it, by myself, in about an hour. All parts were there, identifying labels were in place. Being organized and attentive to detail makes everything go smoothly. I ordered the five shelf bookcase and it fits perfectly in the space I had chosen. Very pleased with this product.

I put two of these together already and I might order another for another room. I love how strong they are. Actually the hardest part was sliding off the table and standing it upright cause it's fairly heavy. I am single woman, 69 years old with rheumatoid arthritis and I assembled this in about 1.5 hrs on a rainy Sunday, and that included taking the dog out once. It's a bunch of screws - that's it. I did it on my table cause it's hard for me to get on the floor and do things. The holes do line up but you gotta make sure you've got it laid out correctly. I propped the sides up using a cast iron pot and lid till i got the round tube supports in. The support cross bars will be anchored to holes on the outside of the frame. Make sure the holes are all on the SAME SIDE before you put the 3,4,5 sections together (I used a small hammer to put sides 3,4 and 5 into each other). If they are not on the same side you cannot put the cross supports into the holes and you'll wind up taking it apart and turning it over till the holes are all on the correct side. ADDITIONALLY - Make sure the patterns (ornamental squares) are aligned across from each other on each side. PAY ATTENTION to the fact that there are two and three bars on each side of the square (look for matches across from each other) then begin to place the screws for the round support bars - and you're good to go! The rest is a no brainer. If you are confident that you have aligned both sides exactly like the other you can tighten all the screws as you put them in. Otherwise if you've misaligned the sides you'll have to take it apart and start again till you get it right - LOL - so don't tighten them till the end. I had zero problems with this and didn't take anything apart, but I can see where it can go wrong. I hate going back and retightening things, so I just put them all in tight. It's not complicated just think when you're doing it and enjoy your finished project. You won't be sorry you bought this. It's very nice!
