Mission: AID Atlanta is a non-profit, community-based AIDS Service Organization serving individuals infected and affected by the AIDS epidemic.
We provide direct services to more than 7,800 people living with HIV/AIDS each year, helping to maintain quality of life through active case management and social support services.
Through our education efforts, we promote a simple message: early detection of HIV will ensure proactive management of the disease. We reach more than 75,000 individuals each year through group presentations, health fairs, InfoLine calls, and condom distribution.

Target demographics: provide education programs and support services for those affected by HIV/AIDS from education, testing, medical care, case management and behavioral health.

Programs: AID Atlanta, Inc. has been saving and transforming lives since its inception in 1982.The agency was founded as a “grass-roots” response to the devastating and fatal impact HIV/AIDS was having on the Atlanta community. AID Atlanta quickly began expanding to offer a broad range of services and has since grown to be the Southeast’s oldest, largest, most comprehensive AIDS Service Organization. The mission of AID Atlanta is to reduce new HIV infections and improve the quality of life of its members and the community by breaking barriers and building community. Client programs and services account for 86% of our organizational expenses. AID Atlanta has proven itself the leader in the fight against the AIDS epidemic in metro Atlanta.
