Mission: Those who participate in our demonstrations not only learn the technical aspects, but also create a small artwork to keep. The demonstrations are educational, fun and inspiring! Iron pouring is historically significant in the industrial, economic and cultural development of Alabama.

Results: Past activities include demonstrations and workshops at events such as the Magic City Art Connection in Birmingham, Alabama, the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art's FLIMP festival, the Sucarnochee River Folklife Festival in Livingston, Alabama, numerous ABANA sponsored artist blacksmith events as well as the International Conference on Contemporary Cast Iron Art and the Soule' Live Steam Festival in Meridian, Mississippi. Partners with Alabama Art Casting include the Alabama State Council on the Arts, the University of West Alabama, the Museum Of Steel Sculpture in Coalbrookdale, England, Red Top Mountain State Park in Georgia, Alabama Power Foundation, Sculpture Trails of Solsberry, Indiana and Meridian Community College.

Programs: Alabama Art Casting is a nonprofit organization, featured regularly at Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park and offers demonstration pours for events, schools and groups across the Southeast
