Excellent performing in severe storm in Tennessee that included tornadoes. Vestibule does not provide dry egress. You get dripped on every time. Floor dry even in a puddle. My dog especially liked it. Actual weight with luggage scale is 6.1 pounds with poles and stakes

I wanted something small and easy to set up, low to the ground and dome-shaped for high winds, as the turbulent winds of nearby storm Ida practically flattened my taller REI basecamp tent in 2021.This tent held up nicely at the same beach campground this week, with mild wind and drizzling. I followed another user's advice to add extra guy lines, which was a good idea. I also purchased additional heavy duty 12 inch sand stakes. It does get hot which was nice in 60 degree May beach weather, so probably really hot in later summer. It fits a twin sized inflatable mattress, and has room to sit up (I'm 5'5').We'll see how it holds up in more severe weather, but so far, so good, I look forward to beach camping again with this tent.

I recently took this tent on a camping trip over the weekend, and I have to say, it exceeded my expectations. Not only is it incredibly lightweight, but setting it up was a breeze. Despite the low 50-degree weather, we remained comfortable throughout the night, thanks to its excellent insulation. Even when faced with light rain, the tent held up really well, keeping us completely dry. Considering its quality and performance, all for under $130, I can confidently say it's one of the best investments I've made for outdoor adventures. Highly recommended!

I bought this tent over 5 years ago and I thought I would come back to write a long term review.I have been backpacking for over 20 years and I've been through a lot of tents at all price ranges. I bought this one almost on a whim. I was looking for something at a lower price point, but that was functional for 2 people in most conditions and this tent fit the bill.It quickly became the tent of choice for me and my long time backpacking and camping partner. In the past 5 years we have taken it on dozens of backpacking and car camping trips and it has never failed us. It's exactly the right size for 2 adult men with a bit of space left over for clothes and the usual tent gear. The vestibules on both sides offer space for your backpack if the conditions are bad. Or just to protect your shoes overnight. It's extremely easy to setup. Just 2 poles that snap together easily. Coordinate with your partner to snap in the corners and lift while connecting the central point. Then hook the tent to the poles. All that's left is to throw over the rain cover and stake down. It truly couldn't get much easier. Is it the smallest and lightest tent in the world? No. Would I take it up Everest? No.But for the price point it more than gets the job done. We have used it in all sorts of conditions and it has only sustained the slightest signs of wear in 5 years. One big note for me is that often in tents at this price point protection for storms becomes a concern. I can happily say that this tent has protected me in some pretty gnarly storms and I never had to worry about a thing. Excellent rain protection and solid wind defense as well.Definitely would recommend. My only concern now is getting a backup before they inevitably stop producing this model.

I have used this tent for a variety of trips over the last year, and it has never let me down! I throw a tyvek footprint down and set it up in about 10 minutes if I am taking it slow (quicker if its raining). Lightweight enough for backpacks and overnight kayak trips, but roomy enough that it will be your go-to for planned trips where you can cart your stuff into camp with buggies. Double-walled, so no condensation, with dual vestibules. Loved this tent so much that I have a second one for when a family member tags along!

I'm from the North East of US but go camping in the southwest and it can get pretty hot in the tent on summer nights. There isn't very much ventilation where you lay down so I usually bring a portable fan with me to keep cool. The tent is extremely easy to set up and only takes about 5 minutes, overall I really like it and will use it for early spring, fall, and winter. And maybe use a different tent in the summer on 75 degree nights.

Currently in a 75 nights of setup and tear down trip. It keeps the rain out, and is great in medium winds of 20-30 kph. One small hole appeared in the fabric, unclear how it occurred.

Brought this to Alaska for 4 nights of camping. It rained 3 nights and no rain got in, no condensation despite the humidity. As long as I was quick in and out, no mosquitos got in. And after 4 days of use, it still looks brand new, so I'm confident it will last many uses.
