Husband needed a stool for work and this is perfect. You can carry it with you it's so small and compact yet can hold up to 300lbs.

I like how compact this is. I keep in my truck. Nice for fishing, camping or just a place to sit when stopping on a road trip.

Have used this a few times camping, and it's really a good little stool. Folds up and goes into it's bag easily. It's pretty sturdy, and doesn't feel like its going to go out from under me. Has some good feet that make it pretty stable.They even attached the velcro to the chair so you don't loose it. It takes almost no room in my trailer.I have had other Alps gear, and it tends to be quality stuff that lasts.

I got these because most of the dg branded tripod stools out there a pretty flimsy, and I don’t trust the aluminum legs. These are steel, and the seat is fastened well. A little short, but that makes it really easy to transport. I have a Trooper bag, and the strap on the stool threads through the d-rings on either side so it sits above your discs, and isn’t swinging around. Great for playing large courses, popping a squat while waiting to tee, or bring it with to spectate a tournament.

I Just got it.. So I can't judge durability..But will be used for many reasons...mainly fishing from shore..While sitting you can cast without feeling like you are going to tip over..also allows movement with comfort..

I bought this for my husband when he saw someone with a similar one . He uses it at work all the time, he says it’s much better than sitting on a home depot bucket. He uses it at home when he’s working on his bike or car. He takes it fishing too. Perfect size to carry around and very sturdy.

I bought this for the occasional picnic (I can't sit on the ground) but I managed to sit on this thing for almost two hours during a parade, with minimal pain. It's great because it's small enough to carry in a backpack (it sticks out of the backpack a few inches so you need two zippers). It also works as a leg test to prop a leg up while sitting in a chair.

I used this chair at a Champions golf tournament. It is easy to set up, easy to carry and sturdy enough for me. If you have a big butt, do not purchase this one. The chair works well for short sitdowns to relieve stress on legs from long-term standing.
