Mission: Americans for Native Americans is dedicated to improving the quality of life of Native Americans by providing essential goods and programs which foster self-reliance and mutual understanding.

Target demographics: Native Americans

Direct beneficiaries per year: 840 children received backpacks to feed them over the weekend (this year it will be 1,300), children in 25 elementary schools which clothing, eyeglasses and school supplies, 20 nursing students with scholarship assistance, 6 student nurses in the nursing exchange, and 3 reservations with veterinarian services

Geographic areas served: the Southwest with Navajo, Hopi, and Zuni

Programs: Food for Kids Backpacks; nursing scholarships and NCLEX fees; veterinarian clinics; clothing, shoes, eyeglasses, and school supplies for children and their schools. We partner with University of New Mexico-Gallup, Doylestown Hospital, Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, and Central Bucks School District to share nursing experiences.
