I love my alexa. It recognizes me ever when I have stuff playing. My only complaint is the camera. I got it as a gift and was hoping to use it to keep an eye on my dog, but I have to open and shut down the app until the live view decides to work. I broke down and bought a camera to use for my dog. But it is a fun easy tool so I did buy one for my mother

Product stopped powering up. Opened it up and it looks the power management chip stopped working. 18V is making it to the board, but nothing is powering up. Maybe ESD or power surge strike. The board should be more robust!!!

This works well for adding to my Alexa list and seeing what's on my list. I also use it for recipes in the kitchen.

Alexa can be a helpful woman or whatever u make her (can change her to a man voice). But man has she gotten worse with answering stuff and weather? Forget about it she's soooo inaccurate especially in places where I live Michigan. Outside of that I love it. What I don't like? The clock doesn't work as alarm once the service is disrupted or power is out. And boy did that teach me a lesson. I think she could be a tad louder w the volume for music or Radio etc but this is fine. What I just learned is for free, you can ask Alexa to wake you up at say 6am and say “with wind chimes” or “sound of rain” etc etc and it will. Which is way nicer than waking up to its other awful alarm sounds lol. So that's a perk.Sometimes she just goes off for no reason. Like LOUDLY it's soooo annoying and soooo embarrassing! I've checked settings and all that apply are checked off so it won't doThey and that's why it angers me. How many times is it going off when I'm at work at 530am waking person below me I wonder? I'm still working on finding a fix for it. The voice options are slim.. the ones I have now is like she has her nose plugged. I can't find one I like lol. The other accents annoy me and I'd jump to take someThing else even if I had to pay for it. This is kinda like one of them things where u pick your battles. Check other options first and see which annoyances you can handle better lol

Can't watch everything I want on it, but good for a kitchen to look up recipes or listen to music

Works pretty good. I hate that sometimes the TV sets it off. Seems like the old ones didn't do that. Needs a few more names. Or maybe you can add the feature to call it what you want?!

Good for a picture frame

The grandkids figured out how to view Youtube on this device, and soon thereafter the screen was cracked.

Been using this as a white noisemachine in our spare room and has been working well ever since when. Alexa is still responsive when we have some quick questions. Speakers can be better but i guess thats too much to ask for something this small.

Having my smart home integrated via Alexa is pretty awesome, but this package with the Blink cam is . There is no video alert integration that I can see. I'd use a Ring instead

I love this device as a digital picture album for my kitchen as well as a small TV to run my shows and play my music. Sometimes things run a bit slower than I'd like. I wish there offered more integrations such as with my SimpliSafe cameras and other streaming services. It has wonderful features you can utilize, but some are still buggy and will send you a ton of notifications. Overall, it is not a must have for you home, but if you have the cash and want one it is enjoyable.

Had her for a while now and it's pretty cool I used to use it often for like checking in another rooms like the living room from my room or all kinds of little features like that Now it's mainly just a interactive picture frame that I set my alarms on but it's still pretty nice every now and then to have a question pop in your head be able to ask the echo so easily but I recommend it probably cool gift for kids.

Love the 8, specially with the screen and the speaker is awesome. We leave it in the kitchen and often watch movies while we are meal prepping. Sometimes though she gets all screwy and doesn't understand ANYTHING we ask her to do. Other than that she gets 9/10
