This product was easy to install and the directions were clear. It kept everything inside the truck bed as designed. The only issue was its removal with a bed cover. Removal was easy. But the cover had to be opened to allow the device pins to reach the slots in the hinges to allow them to slip out. It is light enough to be carried with one hand. Ordering the supplemental non-screwing hinges are recommended. The holes already in the truck bed were sufficient for easy installation.

These brackets we a snap to mount. They made what I thought to be a fearful job straightforward. After securing the two frames, the bed extender simply fell into place.

I used the supplied brackets with the self-tapping screws on my 2019 Ram 1500 when I first bought the AMP bed extender. I had quite a high-anxiety level when using the template to mount the brackets. When I purchased my new 2022 F150 and transferred the bed extender, I did not want to drill the aluminum body, so I went in search of a no-drill option. The hold down brackets that go into the factory holes work great and index on 2 little tabs to line up in the brackets in the holes. The kit includes toothed washers, but I added some blue locktite to make sure the brackets couldn't vibrate loose. Make sure you pay attention to the orientation of the brackets (left vs. right). Other than that, the installation is pretty straight forward.

Did not want to drill holes on my new truck. Was transferring BED X-tender from 2001 F150 worked as advertised. Easy install took a few minutes. Would recommend if you do not want to drill.

Bought the bed extender to install on my F350. It arrived ahead of time, and initial setup was fast and easy. Looking at the instructions I noticed there was an optional no drill kit. I ordered it and waited for it's arrival. When the no drill kit arrived I looked through the instructions, and noticed 6 bolts to attach the universal mounting bracket to the braces. I looked through all of the parts provided. The no drill kit included 6 M5 nuts, but no bolts. The installation kit for the bed extender didn't have the bolts either. Ran to the hardware store and picked up six 8-24x1/2 button head bolts, and nylock nuts because they didn't have the button head bolts in metric. Would have been nice to know this beforehand. Would have been nicer if they would have included the bolts.

Don't be confused by my headline. If you don't have a drop in bed liner you don't need to drill. However if you have a drop in bed liner make sure you have the required drill bit needed to make a hole in it to line up with the hole this product uses in your truck bed. I didn't have the right size and it made my install a little more frustrating. That being said the product works fine and lets you install a bed extender without having to drill into your trucks body. I feel like it's priced to high, but I didn't really want to drill into my truck. The price is the reason for a 4 star review. Other than that it works perfectly in my 2018 F150.

This product was easy to install and the directions were clear. It kept everything inside the truck bed as designed. The only issue was its removal with a bed cover. Removal was easy.
