Watch a YouTube video for help in installing. The only trouble I had was breaking the two bumper bolts loose. HUGE help for us older folks to get into the bed of the truck. Highly reccomend!

Delivery of my Bump Step was a couple of days early. Well packaged with clear installation instructions. Install was easy. The step deploys easily and snaps into position soundly. I feel a little “give” when I put my weight (195 lb) on the step, which makes me wish it was a little beefier. It works great and makes getting in and out of the bed very easy. I'd buy it again if I get another truck.

A great addition to my F150 truck. Very convenient to push down and climb into the bed of the truck with the tailgate up or down. You get a pictorial set of instructions for installation. I found these to be adequate for an easy installation in less than an hour. If you follow the install sequence and do not tighten the assembly bolts until specified everything goes together well. Operation of step is smooth. The retraction comes up nicely to the bumper without bouncing or contacting. When retracted the step is parallel to the bottom of the bumper and looks good.There is some flex to the composite plastic step plate, I hope the plastic does not age and become brittle. I had the competing step on back order for over 6 months. This one cost a little more and has the composite step. But I am pleased with the purchase.

Does the job but rather expensive

I'm a shorter woman, and this makes it exponentially easier to get up in the bed of my truck without having to jump!

This step was easy to install. The step is very sturdy and the placement is excellent. The step retracts perfectly and extends just as well. The distance between the bumper and ground is spot on. My only challenge is I would have preferred it be a universal mount so it could be mounted on the passenger side of the truck. Although, there was no indication the step was universal, so not a huge loss.

Great product. I appreciated how easy it was to install. The price seems a little high for what you get. Overall very pleased with the outcome.

Highly recommend to anyone that has a truck!
