Product worked great when someone drilled a hole in my fuel tank to take the gas. Came with a epoxy plug to seal the hole and then the epoxy was east to apply - upside down is a bit tricky, and it won't look pretty- but it works!

Developed a pinhole on the side of the plastic gas tank of John Deere X485 tractor. Carefully read and re-read instructions and any you tube video on Versachem I could find. Removed tire of tractor to have easier access to the hole. Had everything ready to move fast (plus a helper) as once you blend the two chemicals it begins to harden. Within 5 minutes the patch began to cure. As it was below freezing, put a lamp near patch overnight to help it harden. Snow blowed for 2 hours the following day with no leak. If this works it will save me $600 plus for a new tank and installation.

I had a small weep at the corner of a steel fuel tank- ground it to solid clean metal, wiped it and applied the kit as instructed on package. Problem done! Fixed. Solid and a proper repair.

Used only half teaspoon of each component before mixing outside of pouches on flat surface. Can get two or more applications. Not shure how long it will last but was easy fix on 20 year old car.

Read the reviews before I bought this and there were more saying good than bad. And after using product I see where a few may have gone wrong. You do have to be fast. But if you follow directions it's proven to work!!

2 fuel oil or diesel fuel leaks are very hard to stop with chemical sealing products. I've tried many such asJB Weld (which works well putting broken things together) but if the tank is leaking they won't work.I had a very small seeping leak on a 3 year old 275 gallon heating oil tank. The tank was full. The leak was on the very bottom of the tank. I wiped off the oil with a rag then wiped it off again using a rag soaked with rubbing alcohol. The leak appeared after about 5 seconds of watching. I sanded the area to bare metal the wiped it off again and saw the area of the weeping leak . This kit comes with a small cube of some kind of stuff. But the directions say to rub the leak area with it so I did. I was amazed to see the seep stopped. The cube of stuff, which seemed quite hard produced a stickyness that stopped the leak! I cut a 1 square of fiberglass that came with the kit, mixed up a small amount of the two part materiel and put it on one side of the fiberglass patch and pressed it against where the leak was on the tank. I used a small flat piece of wood instead of the brush they supply to spread the rest of the stuff on the patch and it hardened in about 5 minutes. I had much more of the two part material left so I mixed up about the same amount and spread it over a little larger area to reinforce it. The tank does not leak anymore.Product worked very well for me.

This epoxy is the real deal. Ignore the 1 star reviews. The people who left those reviews all applied the product incorrectly. If you mix both packs completely together at once you will never have enough time. Just cut a corner off each pouch and mix a small quarter sized amount. Apply the 1st layer to the tank, followed by your fiberglass patch. Add second layer over the fiberglass patch. Let it dry. Repeat this 2-3 times and allow to cure for 24 hours.EDIT: 5 month update, no leaks, still holding up. Great product.

It did great, use it fast after mixing,it starts getting hot after a couple minutes,it is a great way to fix leaky tanks other than buying a new one, clean the metal to bare steel and you wont have a problem!

I have a hard plastic tank on my 950 John Deere diesel tractor. It had an inch and half crack on a corner. I drained the diesel below this point and followed the instructions. Sanded, applied epoxy, then cloth and more epoxy. Let set 24 hours and no more leak. Worked great.

Something chewed a dime sized hole in the plastic gas tank on my snow blower. Nothing like having gasoline splashing on your boots while you work. This product sealed the hole in five minutes. Amazing stuff. Buy it.
