This comes with one api glass tube which is nice if you did not buy the master test kit and do not have any tubes. Also nice to get another one since they are fragile. Same stuff that in master kit, but without buying the kit.

Works fairly well. I haven't found any yet it was easy to read. It did give me A negative reading.

I needed to test the copper levels for the Cupramine treatment I was using in my quarantine tank. Considering I try to operate on a budget with my aquarium related expenses I felt this test kit offered a good value for the price. I did learn initially that the bottle requires quite a bit of shaking to get accurate results as the solution may settle if not used or kept in storage. Also depending on the lighting in the room (warm vs blue) you may interpret the results differently. The PPM value ranges on the test kit card don't give you the greatest accuracy but I think generally speaking can keep you within your desirable range. For just needing a basic test kit for my nano tank it fits my needs but if I had a large or valuable collection of fish I'd probably invest in something like the Hanna.

I bought this to test for copper since I am considering buying some blue dream shrimp. Like many other reviewers, I am not sure if this can test for trace amounts, as it always came out clear. However, the snails I put in the tank are doing okay, so it seems quite accurate. Expensive considering I only needed to test a couple of times, but worth keeping around.
