I personally would prefer a tablet or caplet, but I guess it works for most

My 3 Goldfish had been acting super lethargic and I had originally thought it was ick, but when only one of them seemed to improve I took a closer look and realized it was fin rot and that one of them also seemed to have red patches on his body. I was afraid that I'd be too late in starting the fin rot treatment but low and behold after the first 24 hrs they were already swimming around and searching for food again. As long as you follow the instructions, and you're not too late, you should get happy healthy fish once again. I've completed the treatment now but one of them still appears to have a bit of fin rot still so I plan on doing another dose tomorrow if it's still there. Fair warning, it does make the water look awful. Can barely see through it but it doesn't seem to bother the fish so a few water changes and fresh filter should do the trick.

Compre este producto con tantas ancias porque tena un goldfish con vejiga natatoria y a la vez se me enfermo de septicemia hemorragica y tena tanto miedo de perderlo , espere mas de un mes para publicar mi opinin. Fue increble mi pez se salv de la septicemia me siento tan feliz se que todos los cuerpos no reaccionan al medicamento igual . Pero a mi pez le funcion . Lo recomiendo 100,a pesar de buscar tratamiento y ninguno deca que era efectivo y que de esa enfermedad no haba cura y que no sobrevivira.

I thought I was going to lose all my fish in my tropical tank because they all had some whiteish patches on them and some had cloudy eyes. The gouramies had swollen bellies too. I only lost my beautiful Angelfish- he had it the worst, and a couple of neons. The rest got better!!!! I followed the instructions and changed out 25 of the water daily. I also added aquarium salt because I was told that would help.

This knocked a persistent mouth infection right out on my old Chihuahua cross. Dosed high, absolutely no side effects. He feels so much better, and now we can go back to daily oral maintenance.

Came back from a week long trip to find out Betta barely alive. Combination of not setting house thermostat low enough for triple digit weather, slow feeder tablet wasn't very good, and I had just introduced new tank decor that he didn't get along with. Came home to completely shredded fins and starting motionless at the bottom of the tank.Got this going, and after the first week of treatment, he was looking so much better. I was pretty worried by his state at the start, but this stuff works. No matter tattered fin rot. Definitely recommend this stuff.Heads up, it does change the color of the water to pink, but after a couple 1/4 tank water changes and returning the charcoal filter, that pink hue went away.

I have a 210 gallon tank with various community fish.But one day after adding more fish my Dojo and Khuli loaches started getting sick.They had white fungus and fin rotting while my other fish with scales were doing fine.I started using API Melafix but my loaches kept dying.Then I tried Fixick and still they kept dying.Then I tried this API E.M Erythromycin.Having a 210 gallon tank I bought 9 boxes and followed the instructions.Problem solved it worked.My remaining loaches are still alive and well plus I've bought more

I've watched this stuff do miracles with some ugly bacterial infections. Fish that I thought I'd lose came back from the dead. Now, I always keep a box on hand.

This was easy to use, unfortunately i think my fish had a more severe ailment and although i think there was some improvement during use, his condition was terminal.

Not only did this cure the fin rot but it encouraged new fin growth and energy of my fish! Amazing! Never used a product like this before! Only warning, watch filter medium for it creates a film that chokes out the filter. Suggest rinsing or replacing ammonia and foam prior to end of treatment. Then after, add charcoal. Worth it though! No discoloration. Awesome!
