I saw a YouTube video that said you could add a drop of solution 1 to a rock to determine if it's safe for your in the tank. My stolen lake rocks failed. My yard rocks passed. Who knows if it's true tho right. Satisfied though.

I love it! It is very accurate...I lost three fish because my dipsticks were not working.This is very easy to use and very accurate. If you want to avoid any nitrite stress you need to get this one

Add the drops to the vial of aquarium water and wait 5 minutes, compare the color to the color chart on the provided card - not hard. API has been around a long time, so I will assume accuracy of the test results.

Being new to fish tank keeping after all these years I had to order all of my supplies. This test is easy to use and many many tests in the box. The ONLY downfall to these is honestly the company should re think the shape of these tubes. I can't tell you how many times they have tipped over lol too tall and slender makes them tip easy
