I painted the fuel tank on my 07 R6. It was my first time using a proper paint gun. It came out very nice and better that anticipated. I used the 3m pps 2.0 adapter and cups for easy clean up.

Everyone is calling this a LVLP gun. They are HVLP and of their 3 gravity guns it uses the most CFM. Go to their website and verify. Nice gun that sprays better than other 100.00 guns.

I absolutely love this gun. I worked at a body shop 20 years ago, but life took me in a different direction. I recently decided to paint my gas saver and it turned out great. This gun is amazing

Uses at least 12cfm to get good finish,,not at 19psi,,more like 30psi

So far so good out of the box, very nice spray gun. 3M PPS 1 adapter 27, 16119, Series 2 27, 26119, HF Blk Wid 57506. Wrap the threads w/ Teflon tape. I have not had any leaks. I emailed Astro regarding different size nozzles/needles, but have not gotten a response. Their web site shows the 13 is unavailable. Finally got an answer from Astro - only nozzle/needle sets available for the EVOT are 13 14 but priced almost as much as buying a new gun . Too bad.

I'm using this gun for automotive base coat. I have a different preference for spraying clear, but as my dedicated base gun I give it big thumbs upLight weight, nice finish, nice fan. Not a complete air hog. You could use it for clear as well of course, but I got a couple pricier guns for that job. Really nothing bad to say about it. If you are on the fence, buy it! You will like it

I'm spraying Crystalac Brite tone instrument finish with this gun. After an initial learning curve I'm getting a nice smooth finish on guitar parts. As advertised, there is minimal overspray. That's nice considering the cost of Brite Tone. Cleanup is just a matter of taking off the cup and spray head and running hot tap water through everything. My compressor is 11 gallons and 6.3 cfm at 40 psi, so it's underpowered according to the gun's specs, but I was able to spray a 3.5 ft by 5 ft table top without pausing in the middle of a coat. Haven't tried solvent based or latex finishes with it, but for what I do it is 100 satisfactory

It is of really good quality and is not only easy to set up but it is also easy to take apart to clean. So far i've painted various panels and parts and the quality finish is amazing. I am very happy with my purchase. Ps i use a 20gal compressor and it works great.

Its been 2 years since I bought this, Used it on many cars, this thing works better than the more expensive guns I bought before. No spider webs and no problems, a smooth fine mist that makes the paint and clear come out even and level and factory like finish.
