All male and female veterans are welcome! Groups meet in an open and confidential setting with the goal of developing a sense of wellness and self-worth. Project GROW (Gardening, Rehabilitation, Outreach, Wellness) - Project GROW pairs students and special needs individuals with military veterans and affords them the opportunity to obtain education and knowledge of the benefit of Aeroponic Tower Gardening. Participants receive instructions and knowledge on growing, selling and marketing their produce. Family Reinforcement - The program is designed to reach out to the wives and families of veterans, provide an open and confidential environment for conversation, sharing, mutual understanding, resources and support that addresses the spouse’s emotional and financial needs. Spouses will learn how to identify “triggers” and are taught “coping skills” that will help their veteran and themselves.
