Great map, cheaper than buying in store...can't go wrong. I think that this company makes the best maps. I have a few of them have never had an issue.

Excellent map of Acadia and Mt. Desert Island. The entire Park/island is printed on one side, the other side has just the eastern half of the park at a larger scale. Since the eastern Park has a greater concentration of trails and carriage roads, the larger scale helps greatly to make sense of the tangle. In addition, distances from junction to junction are printed alongside the trails, making it unnecessary to refer to a separate guide book. Finally, the numbered carriage road intersections are printed as well, adding to the map's overall convenience. A much nicer map than the Trails Illustrated version.

excellent map and trail guide! Used it continuously on a 10 day trip on Mt. Desert island. It was roughly handled and refolded and held up like new.

I've used several different Acadia trail maps, and this is my favorite. I use it for both hiking and also biking the carriage roads, and have done so for years. You can't go wrong with this.

3rd edition doesn't have Schoodic section so not what I hoped for. Map is of good quality but no longer complete. Schoodic section was included into Arcadia in 2015/16 it was gifted to the national park. Glad I purchased The Maine gazette map book . Was hoping for a even better map of the park

Great map of Acadia National Park with both the overall map as well as trails map. Best part waterproof so can be reused for future trips.

We purchased this map for our recent trip to Acadia National Park and it proved to be a very valuable and much used resource. It's waterproof, durable, and shows all the park trails and carraige roads in detail. In fact, on one of our hikes we ran across a park ranger that was trying to help a couple that was somewhat turned around on their trail and guess what map she pulled out - yes this exact same map. She then advised them that they might want to purchase this map as their hiking reference. I guess if this map is good enough for the park rangers, that's a pretty high endorsement.
