Works great, a little heavy though. Saves your shoulder big time!

Works great! So much easier than using a bat to hit fly balls. There was a little bit of a learning curve, but I can't imagine coaching without it.

I got this to work with my son on catching fly balls. It takes a little getting used to how to use it best but once you get the hang of it you can really pin point where you want the ball to go.

Very good product. You can hit the ball consistently in the Same location unlike using a bat.

Ordered it over the holidays. Just tried it last week at the start of the season, too late to return it. Not easy to use, not enough power to hit the ball to the outfield.

I have used the Accubat Pro Model at 3 practices now for my select 10-U players and my AAA Little league players. All the other coaches are now want one - they all want to keep borrowing mine. Learning how to use it did not take much time (about 10 minutes and I had it mastered). Fly balls are a cinch and grounders are even easier. The secret is to hold the ball like a badminton birdie - don't throw the ball up in the air and try to hit it. Flyball sweet-spot is 30-45 yards (measured out on our football field). If you want to hit it all the way to a major league wall...it isn't going to happen. I have only used it with youth regulation little league hard balls. If you are going to hit a lot of balls at one practice, I recommend wearing a batting or golf glove on the hand you are holding the Accubat with.

Was excited to use when I first received but was disappointed with outcome not easy to use. I went back to hitting ball the oldschool way with a bat and ball. Don't waste your money.

It needs a bigger netted area in order to use for softball

What a great tool. Hitting pop ups to the kids can be nervewracking. Using this tool we are able to be more efficient in our practice time since we can be more accurate and get more reps in with the boys. You do lose the crack of the bat so moving on the ball isn't exactly the same, but for working on fundamentals of fielding fly balls this thing is invaluable. It is a little on the pricey side but if you are planning on coaching more than a couple seasons it is worth the investment. My boys love it.

Maybe I need to practice with this but I tried using it at our tryout a couple weeks ago and had trouble hitting it to the spot I wanted the ball to go.

Doesn't really have much spring to it. Most can throw a popup as high as this hits them.

Great baseball training aid! For those who struggle using a bat to hit pop-ups and grounded...

I bought this because I'm not very good hitting pop flies with a regular bat - at least in terms of positioning the ball. I also find it difficult to do it with a glove. This is a life changer! Took my 10 year old son for some pop fly practices and the accu bat made is 1000 times better. Not only was it more efficient, it was more fun! Parents were stopping me to ask where I got it. It's a must for anyone training a young baseball player.

I love this tool. it is a bit heavier than expected but it really does a nice job of allowing the user to accurately and consistently hit fly balls, ground balls, or line drives to any part of the field while not exhausting you fully swinging a bat.
