For the home chef with no fancy knife skills, these are fabulous. Side benefit is that your hands don't smell like whatever it is you just chopped.

I received some very nice knives and sharpener as a gift. Which is a bit ironic, as i was in the ER several weeks ago getting stitched up after a large knife slipped while trying to cut a delicata squash. Now, i feel protected.

I can chop so much faster with no worries about nicking fingers. They also provide insulation from cold/hot, and nitrile gloves slip over them very easily.

I bought these, because I sliced my knuckle removing letters off a wall at work. I am the visual mgr at Dillards. So, now anytime I am removing lettering from a wall I wear these and feel protected.

I got these gloves after I cut my finger with the new sharp knife. Give me the feeling of extra protection. I would recommend wearing regular gloves above to avoid washing cut resistant gloves after every use.

Purchased for use when using the barbecue. Will normally wear a pair of rubber gloves over these to keep the meat juices away. They provide insulation from heat as well as protection from cuts.

These gloves are easy and comfortable to wear, they stretch to fit, and I have no idea what would happen if I accidentally slipped the knife and cut into my hand. I haven't done it yet. However, wearing them doesn't impair my shucking (I'm a novice, but it seems easy), and my wearing them makes my husband feel more confident that I am safe and we won't have to rush to the ER.I have medium to small hands, and I bought the small. There is still room in the fingers and the hand, so I recommend buying the small size if you are a 5'2 woman of medium build with short to medium fingers.

Orderd the XL, which are a little big on me, will order the large next time, but work great. Used then while dicing onions and celery with no issues. Rinsed them out and air dried. Worked as advertised.
